okk, thx for the tips folks! very much appreciated. erm btw, other than re-painting, since i think the scratch is like quite minor...is there any car product like can "cover up" the scratch superbly?
*
First how deep is the scratch? Deep till can see white thing? if yes then have to spray. if not u can try to polish it. but it will still there but not so obvious only.

wat does it do wit disc brake bro? ?
he's having sound not vibration on d steering~   rclxub.gif
jus asking u  wat tire brand n size u use n u answer warranty? ?    rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif
*
Well.....it happen to my dad's myvi and a few friends. The sound only come when the disc is wrap. On my dad's case (everything stock), those klok klok sound only come when disc is wrap. And once replace new caliper, disc and brake pad......sound is gone. But when disc wrap again the sound came back. Now is on third set. So far no sound yet. But soon will if P2 don't have a new brake disc design.

On my myvi, now my disc is wrap and i do heard a light klok klok sound from front when pass those uneven road. Detail explaination, nobody knows and P2 SC ppl have nothing to say doh.gif. Those mechanic from Autocraft blame it on the caliper design....... rclxub.gif.......maybe you can explain it.

though klok sound is come from suspension system when going thru uneven road?
if u means depress brake pedal and thru uneven road, maybe is brake problem that caliper keep knocking disc...
maybe another possibility that they dismantle most of the parts and re-tighten all the screws, so the sound gone lo... maybe next trip u can ask them dismantle caliper & disc for checking only like installing new set and install back, see got any differences or not...
*
Tried b4 long time ago on first warranty claim. Still the same.

16 rim... kpa i use the 10% rule so 44psi but i reduce to 42 because too bumpy... but when i check in the morning it is 256kpa which i think is around 37psi maybe after using it will go up...

thanks in advance...

Added on June 6, 2008, 8:29 am

regular means the one unleaded one is it??
*
256kpa is too hard. Anyway, ur tyre size will make ur speedometer reading not accurate.

thats why me checking with cheeann how to determine wheter is it the right tyre pressure for such tyres...
*
Trade in lo.....haha.....anyway....30psi - 32 psi will be fine.

trade in????!!!!!!! mad.gif  you siao a... buy new one to trade in... wanna kena bang a...

31 is for normal rims and tayar size which is for stock... must remember that my rim is no longer the same as what the sticker says... its not 14/65/195
*
If ur tyre is new then trade in value is high. So just top up a little to get new 1. On this size ur tyre turning is more. Hence u will feel ur car underpowered. May affect ur FC also.

Bro.....For your information........i been using 16" rim for more than 1year +++ stick to always 30-32 psi. That the comfort zone. Anything more than that ur butt will suffer. Doesn't mean that big rim or big tyre need to put in higher pressure 1. doh.gif

QUOTE(firstknight @ Jun 7 2008, 12:22 PM)
thanks for your info... but i think the FC is the same.... when i got my car the stock rims also same mileage... only recently i got my car to run around 380 before the next pump and i pump at the last 2 bars.... so i think its ok compare to what you mentioned about city driving which will hit around 300 - 320 for some...

only recently it increases could be due to the increase of preasure.. i dun know and not sure but it worked. So i think 37 psi is ok and its not as bumpy as you think it is... that is why i need another profesional opinion on the tyre pressure cos i believe you cant have the same pressure of different tyres. I have checked out a website and he gave his opinion of using the 10% of the max psi of the tyre theory so that is one pro opinion. Now i am still waiting for cheeann opinion... if he say that use the same pressure then i will reconsider the tyre pressue.

have you seen those sticker giving you the tyre pressure level you should put? there are some with many tyre sizes and with different psi-s. so if you find your tyre ngam for you then  thumbup.gif ... for me i need to find one that is right for me considering the opinion of others as well...

anyway...  notworthy.gif thanks for your opinion.
*
No problem.....sharing is caring. Have u try 30psi to 32psi ? i still think 37 psi is too high. Y don't u go back to the shop that u bought ur tyre and rim and ask them what u should pump.......or when u take ur car for alignment and balancing, check the tyre pressure that they pump in. It will be around 30 - 32 or so.

Another thing u need to remember, the higher the tyre pressure, it absorb less impact. Hence those impact will transfer to ur rim and car body. Ur rim might suffer a lot.

i do not agree wit u on tis as i've try done a test 2 my car n sum customer's car~
i'll dare 2 say higher pressure 34-36psi won't make d rim suffer at all than 28-30psi if u try pot holes in kl~
da only disavantage for having higher pressure will cuz u bumpiness n kill ur abs faster~
i rather save fc by putting slighly higher like 32-34psi~
*
Oh ic......mind to share those cars on stock small rim or big rim? low profile tyre or thick tyre?......Thing might be different if using low profile tyre ( less than 50 series tyre) and big rim......... biggrin.gif

also usually fully having high viscosity as XXw-50... seem over kill 1.3cc engine...

for me i now using semi eneos 5w-30...
*
Using fully syn oil will give more cost saving in long run. Nowadays Xw30 rating oil is getting more.

how much is it?  sweat.gif

i know some of fully engine oil selling quite cheap in market, even can get it RM100...
but have to concern about the quality such as different engine oil grouping...
if low quality still no recommended to use the engine till 10k km or more than 6 months...
example my usage... used 4200km @ 5 months with eneos semi... tend will change it on the 6th months although may able to use it till 7500km, i afraid of sludges and may cause the engine overhaul soon...  sweat.gif
*
If u afraid of sludges, then u should change more often. 3 months or so not half a year le........half a year on semi syn...... sweat.gif

ya... that why... that motul should used high quality oil... that why so expensive...

fully: RM250 for 10k km @ 6months
semi: RM100 for 5k km @ 3 months
which 1 u going to choose? smile.gif
the more frequent u change the oil, the more cleaner engine u having...
that why heavy diesel transportation required to change engine oil every months....
*
There is cheaper range. Like motul H-tech. Now 4L is selling rm150++

Bro, P2 material is ABS not PU. And PU is more heavier than fiber la.
