i went to Pudu Pet Shop in around Pudu.. near a temple there.. that place is f#$%ed up.. sorry for the F HatchDollarDivide there.. but this fella talks like he knows everything about glider and abusing his gliders like he knows everything..saying it's ok when his glider isn't wet anymore but the fur is all DRIED and Sticked together like mad.. and it's definitely an underaged 2 week OOP glider that feeds on Hard Baked Bread.. and almost rotten apples.. it's definitely sick and it's like almost goin dark brown fur without the shop keeper cleaning it.. he's telling me it's fine and all but it's so bloody afraid in a small turtle tank..
some more he can tell me he sold 4 glider to this customer and turns out one died after 1 week.. and he came back to get another one because he claims the customer don't know nuts when he's giving nuts to his gliders.. like a lot.. kuaci summore.. argh.. and he's breeding some gliders under hot sun at the lowest cage.. darn cute gliders but come on.. outdoor under the sun?

orhh ok ok i get some sturdy one?
*
Sturdy as in something that's tahan lasak so that the glider cannot bite their way through. That's the main concern only.

Its hard to find the other pictures. Google, looking at those zoo record sites. Hard lah but I manage to get those few. It's even harder to find the sub species of breviceps.

Added on May 27, 2008, 3:38 pmAlot of petshops do not care about the welfare of the glider and joeys for sale and breeding. To them, they are only money. The adults are their profit machines, the adults are like Rm70 cost to them, so if they breed out a few joeys, and the adult dies from sickness, its ok for for them coz the joey covers their cost and gives them some profit. With lousy rotten food and cheap low quality dogfood, they do earn some money.

There are good petshops which care for them, but this is just so rare. So far I only know Pet Shack. Too bad I can't go to Pet Shack today.

Google is a wonderful tool if you maximize the usage.

Sometimes if I wake up with an unsolved question in my head, I'd just GOOGLE for the answer!

-----

Sighhh, nowadays people would do anything for money, thus why all this unethical breeders pop up...

They see got demand, they breed.

Summore breeding in Malaysia does not require license and such, lagi easy for these kind of breeders to pop up...

I bet if selling children is allowed like selling pets, people would sell off their own child or impregnate their wife and turn her into a children factory just for profit!

NO, sand bath is NOT for gliders... It could instead pose harm to your gliders.

For the time being no need to clean them up lah, let them be. Until they are familiar with you and all, then you can clean them up.

If you force everything too fast, you might just lose everything.
