QUOTE(kev da man @ Jun 8 2008, 04:59 PM) viva in all aspects is better than the kenari. except for headroom. I'm not sure about the dvvt thing, but one aspect I think you missed out is the look. Viva look very ugly (in my opinion anyway) especially the back. Looks like a fat man with skinny legs. viva 989cc dvvt tapao my lightly modded car in straightline from 0-100. Proud Ivory white Aerosport GX 2009 that can achieve 387.6Km with RM33.61 RM1.8/L owner reporting in. which means RM10 can give me 115km ++. With RM1.8/L, RM 33.61 = 18.67Litres. In term of Litres to Km, 387.6KM divided by 18.67Litres gives me 20+Km per litre fuel. This post has been edited by Loseeker: Jul 15 2009, 12:04 AM |

First of all, I'm not making this up just to impress others. My method of calculating was fairly straight foward too. Filled the tank full and reset the trip meter counter, run for 387.6km (around 5 days of city driving) then stop by the same petrol station(SHELL with RON97) with the same pump. Filled the tank full again, the price it cost me was RM33.61.
Well, I think some of you would say my maintaining good FC method's a bit extreme....because 1) 80% no air-con, 20% min air-con 2) speed average around 60km/h. (very light foot) 3) Always check tyres pressure. (30psi) 4) Never rev more than 2000 rpm. Always engage a higher gear at 1.5K rpm(learned this from a mechanic). By the way, I'm still single...so it's only me and the car 95% of the time...so light weight contribute to the good FC too. Perhaps you guys always carried your families around so....it's reasonable to expect a slightly higher FC I guess... This post has been edited by Loseeker: Jul 15 2009, 12:55 PM |
