viva in all aspects is better than the kenari. except for headroom.
viva 989cc dvvt tapao my lightly modded car in straightline from 0-100.
*
I'm not sure about the dvvt thing, but one aspect I think you missed out is the look. Viva look very ugly (in my opinion anyway) especially the back. Looks like a fat man with skinny legs.

Proud Ivory white Aerosport GX 2009 that can achieve 387.6Km with RM33.61 RM1.8/L owner reporting in. rclxms.gif

which means RM10 can give me 115km ++. With RM1.8/L, RM 33.61 = 18.67Litres. In term of Litres to Km, 387.6KM divided by 18.67Litres gives me 20+Km per litre fuel. thumbup.gif

According to this thread http://www.k2oc.com/index.php?file=viewtop...=forums&p=43122 found on K2OC.com, there should be an auto adjustment mirror for our kenari.

First of all, I'm not making this up just to impress others. My method of calculating was fairly straight foward too. Filled the tank full and reset the trip meter counter, run for 387.6km (around 5 days of city driving) then stop by the same petrol station(SHELL with RON97) with the same pump. Filled the tank full again, the price it cost me was RM33.61.

Well, I think some of you would say my maintaining good FC method's a bit extreme....because

1) 80% no air-con, 20% min air-con
2) speed average around 60km/h. (very light foot)
3) Always check tyres pressure. (30psi)
4) Never rev more than 2000 rpm. Always engage a higher gear at 1.5K rpm(learned this from a mechanic).

By the way, I'm still single...so it's only me and the car 95% of the time...so light weight contribute to the good FC too. Perhaps you guys always carried your families around so....it's reasonable to expect a slightly higher FC I guess... rolleyes.gif

Man, the more I see, the more I love my birdy.....it's fuel consumption always very low...for RM10 always give me average 110km +-. I dont understand why P2 has to phase out kenari/kelisa and on top of that they have to be replaced by son of avanza, viva....so ugly (at the back, imho). What do you guys think of that?

p/s: I'm so happy I'm able to get a brand new one before they phase it out totally...never want to get a second hand one of this lovely birdy... smile.gif

lol, thanks ero sennin. RM20 for 150 which is not too bad compared to some other cars like proton which is running on campro engines that consume fuel like the way we consume water shocking.gif . I just realized one of my neighbour have 2 kenari in his parking lots. Feel like asking to come join this thread or K20C.com...lol brows.gif

not worth it unless its a myvi 1.3. would rather transplant L9. DVVT head from EJ-VE is not a direct fit onto EJ-DE.

L9 engine as in the one that's being used in Aerodown L902 ?

I'm not sure if anyone started similar topic in K2OC or not, but I would really like to know why do you guys bought kenari? I meant, what do you like about it ? Small Size (K-car)? Good FC? Design? If it's the design, please elaborate a bit on that because there are many people out there who dont like/appreciate our birdy boxy shape. I find it weird but I really really like our birdy's boxy shape. Apart from those supercars, it's the first and only car (so far) that makes me fall in love with. So I would consider it my first love...lol. I still remember I used to tell people I was never interested in things that comes with 4 wheels...until I met our lovely birdy....so guys pls share your view.

Thanks for the feedback Ero....so which is the best part you like about our birdy? I meant in term of design. I favor the aerosport version tail lamp the most. Among the normal, peanut and RS lamp, I'm most ok with the peanut version, that's why I went for the aerosport....no offense guys but I dont like the optimus prime version too...lol
