fuiyo, i have face that problem previously, well, i was hand itchy, wanting to copy some photo out of the iphone on my office pc, which i didn't sync before, so everyting gone, but it still shows that 80% of the storage has been used up. Its fine after i redo the jailbreak, unlock, .....

guys, i m tempting to upgrade to 2.0 using winpwn. here's a cople of question :

a) review shown that 2.0 is more laggy compared to 1.1.4?
b) will those app and games on 1.1.4 work with 2.0?
c) 2.0 new games. do we have to purchase with itune appstore? or can we install like the way we do on 1.1.4?

so guys, if i want to upgrade to 2.0.1, do u need to upgrade to 2.0 first, then to 2.0.1? or directly to 2.0.1?

guys, m now on 2.1. keke... oh yah, previously i have successfully connect my iphone with my pc via winscp and openssh. i was wondering if we can push it a bit more, can we use the wired pc streamyx connection with iphone via ad-hoc mode? i need to install openssh, but now i dun have wifi connection, pls help.

This batch automatically opens the USB tunnel and Portable WinSCP and allows you to "FTP" into your iPhone very quickly over USB. This works very well and is much faster than doing it wirelessly.

Again, the only requirement is that you need to have iTunes installed on the PC you run this. Nothing to install on your local PC other than that. In order for this to work, you need to have OpenSSH installed and turned ON on your iPhone.

Instructions:
1. Download the following .rar file and extract: LINK
2. Connect your iPhone via USB.
3. Go into the extracted files and run the batch file: WinSCP FTP.bat

WinSCP will open up and you will be browsing files almost immediately!

NOTE #1: This setup assumes that you are using the default "alpine" as your password in OpenSSH. If you changed your password, you'll need to run the Portable WinSCP that is located in the files and load the iPhone session and change it and then save it back and then this will work for you.

hmm. i will try later, thanks, but confirm i can use the pc wired streamyx on iphone? so that i do not need wifi to install applications and games.

eh guys, just play those 2.0 games, they are awesome, much much much better than those 1.0 ones. haha..... i played that S.A.M. game for about 3hours yesterday, till the battery gone flat (i charged at noon). muhaha....

eh guys, wanna ask, how come my iphone on 2.1 firmware, the incoming sms still display number in +6013xxxxxxx, and not showing the contact name (which i use 013xxxxxx). previously i was on 1.1.4, i remember i did something for the name to show, can some1 advise, coz i forgot how to do. thanks

i found the phonenumber patch. try tonite if can. haha..

Added on October 9, 2008, 4:21 pmah.... may i know the source for that callerID fix? coz i haven't add any sources inside yet, but i think it comes with alot already. thanks.....

bro, dun have leh, i search "caller", it only shows "SpoofApp3g". dun have callerID Fix.

wah guys, just now i when i was on a call, another friend call in, i press end call + answer new call, then the whole iphone black out. no matter what u press, nothing appear. then later i try to reboot, it stuck at the apple logo, i force it to restart again, after dunno how many times, only it came back, scared the hell out of me.

how many pages does the springboard has on iphone 2.1? reason for asking is i think summerboard can have unlimited pages rite? thanks.... i m now on page 6 already. haha.... all games.

hmm.... wow. Mplayer. where can i find that? if can play RMVB, i think it would be even cooler if we can have TV output, in that way, i can trash my HDD media player. muhaha..... let us know.
