QUOTE(evoHahn @ Jul 7 2009, 09:04 PM) Thank you QUOTE(jie20022002 @ Jul 7 2009, 10:30 PM) Damn nice! I fail at drifting Thanks.Actually, it's a matter of preference on which kind of car you would like to drift with. I started to learn to drift in GT5P with cars that have the FR chassis. Good starting FR cars would be the 350Z, or M3. If you're quite familiar and able to handle these 2 with ease, you could move on to more powerful FR cars (599, DB9, Corvette or the Blitz ER34). Have their power output increased to a certain amount, not too much and not too little. But if you're going to use lower-end stock cars to drift, you could always try maxing out their power output and slowly decreasing it every time you feel it's not right for you. I usually leave the weight and the aerodynamics untouched. Have every single driving assist turned off, including the ABS (you have to set it to 0 manually through the tuning menu as it's always set to 1) I usually have my tyre set to N1/N1. Some people prefer N2/N1, or S3/N1. It depends whether which you find easier to control. Having the right amount of power that you're comfortable with will give you a good throttle oversteer. What I usually do to start a good drift is align your car to the angle you wish to drift, ease off the gas, hit the handbrake once, flick the analog stick to the opposite direction, and slam on the gas while holding the analog stick to the direction you're going. If you think the car is going to go out of control, let go of the throttle and make your car go into angle again and repeat. I couldn't teach you how could you do it with a wheel, because I don't have one |

QUOTE(aaron5829 @ Jul 20 2009, 11:52 AM) Guys, it's been pretty boring month for games.... what say, we bring back time trial mode... Oh yes, the time trial mode.. Or how about a change ? Drift mode perhaps ? Name a car and track, and everyone go do their best time. and post it here. Pro physics only. Added on July 20, 2009, 11:55 amSnipersnake : ahhh, the good ol GT4 ... Even now, im fascinated by how good gt4 looked for a ps2 game. I really hope the screenshot mode returns in GT5.. |

Anyone checked this yet ?
Link - Kotaku Link - Playstation Blog Exclusive rides for Gran Turismo PSP pre-orders (but you can still unlock them in game, just that you have to pay in-game credits to get them). The Bugatti Veyron and Lamborghini Countach are appearing in the PSP version, and they should be making an appearance on GT5. Polyphony finally acquired the license to have Lambos on Gran Turismo This post has been edited by adreanalyn: Aug 4 2009, 11:51 PM |

QUOTE(Mgsrulz @ Aug 20 2009, 04:32 PM) they had a need for speed porsche challenge, too. Or maybe because Polyphony Digital assisted Nissan to create the GT-R, and it achieved a claimed Nurburgring lap time of 7:29 which was faster than either their 911 Turbo or GT2.and if im not mistaken that had damage, too. but both are not simulators...both arcadey |

Anyone seen this yet ?
(8 megapixel photos - hopefully GT5's photo mode could output images this size!) * Taken from GT planet's forum : Link Image 1 Image 2 Image 3 Image 4 Image 5 Image 6 Image 7 Image 8 QUOTE(gnsumas @ Oct 5 2009, 04:18 PM) Can you take a screenshot or a photograph using a camera and show us those cars you claim you bought in the game ?F430, Murcielago, and the Gallardo. Because sorting the car list by manufacturer allows us to see how many cars that we're able to purchase from that particular manufacturer. And Ferrari and Lamborghini only has 2 cars each. And if I recall properly, F2007 and Enzo are only the two Ferrari cars available in the game, and the Countach's (both 25th anniversary and the LP400) are the only two Lamborghinis in GT PSP. |
