I've once asked a friend (he's studying at Japan) to buy me these kind of HU, but ke say better buy from Malaysia due to the region code thingy and issue with 'ehem' disc.

Better use USB, DVD drive got 'lifetime'.

Most 'ahem' DVD is region free.

Should be no problem, as the DVD and your HU has the same region code.

If got budget, why not. One time investment.

Some people say you can get lower insurance by using Captor, as higher chances you get back your car.

I think Captor works best with 2-way alarm system. You can immediately know your car being hijacked (from the 2-way alarm) and quickly inform Captor to disabled your car before they get into building basement (GPS Captor couldn't work in basement).

Nope. They add a layer of Bitumen strip to the inner metal of doors, boot and bonnet. If still not satisfied, add another layer of insuflex to the inner part of door panel.

Performance: 5
Comfort: 5 (leather seat )
Handling: 4.5 (because of sport suspension)
Cabin sound: 3.5 (due to sporty exhaust sound, but can be improved by sound proofing)

Ok lah. I only got RM200 tint voucher and RM20 petrol. Luckily, got car in 2 weeks time.

People say V-Kool is the best, but tooexpensive for me. I used Ecotint. RM1050 for whole car (front windscreen use Raybarrier). http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/500792

The difference between tinted and not is ver noticeble. Once my driver side window break and has to use the un-tinted one (got from warranty), feel very uncomfortable while driving.

Hmmm.. Gen.2 CPS didn't get the UV glass.

Done mine at Taipan USJ Ecotint centre.

Got UV marking there.

Possible. If loan approved by tomorrow, straightaway pay down payment. Add another RM50 for JPJ registration (for fast process).

Well, anyone can say that their tint is Proton approved. But who cares, as long as it JPJ complaint.

I have a habit to never trust 100% what the SA says. If cannot tint, ask him for other freebies in exchange for the tint voucher.

Actually, its not recommended to straightaway tint your car. Should wait 1 week. The reason are:

1. Let you find any defect in PW system. If go tint then only realized, maybe cannot claim warranty. The Ecotint shop at USJ will check your car 1st before start tinting to avoid these kind of problem.

2. The newly installed glass has some kind of oil that can cause imperfect tint. It will disappeared in about 1 week time. This what the tint shop told me.

No TC features ler.. I think when they 1st design Waja, it suppose to be platform for a high end car. Thats why at the meter panel there got TC symbol, easier for future upgrade. But somehow they lost their way under Mahalel admin.
