Carefour has one that lock from the brake pedal to the steering. Priced aorund RM 90++ if I'm not mistaken. Should work well with our thick steering wheels.
I remember when my car arrived at the showroom. I sat there from morning till evening waiting for the runner to get back from JPJ. A wait worth wild smile.gif
I asked around and the info I got was, since our rides already come with UV glass, adding normal tint will already make the glass alot darker than a normal glass. How does yours look Sphiroth? Significantly darker?

Our UV glass has a brownish tinge to it. Seems to be turning everyone's tint to green! rclxub.gif

I think I'll go for black tint...and black 16 inch wheels drool.gif

The UV glass blocks UV ray, but not infrared(heat).

Ya, the aircon is dammmmn cold, morning and night, have to occasionally turn off the compressor, else too cold...

Need to get my tinted soon, considering 3M, my client is running the shop, will try to get him for a quote..

Anyone using 3M ?

Atleast with UV glass you have less risk of skin cancer... laugh.gif

Agree on the cold air-cond. This is one aspect which Proton excel at. thumbup.gif

Nope. Just change oil at 1k km.  cool.gif
Seems like the service cost vary from SC to SC..  hmm.gif
Just drive normally with occasional sprint.  whistling.gif

Sorry for late update, the SC I went is in Kemaman, SYNM Auto if i'm not mistaken. Price 220, with 100+ on ATF only.
How can A/T service cost be lower than 150 if you did engine and gear oil change.

One more question, Proton did use mineral engine oil right when they gave us the car? If not, I would like to revert back to mineral to flush the engine, since syntetic tends to stick to bore wall.

On break-in (I'm on unconventional school, bear in mind), bascially just push the car occasionally, but dont acclerate macam orang gila la. push-release, push-release..kind-of.
And use mineral oil. Flush at 1000km. Or earlier. Ala..sukahatila..nothing is cast and stone anyway.. whistling.gif

But somehow, I notice a significant difference in heat compared to my previous untinted ride when parked at the same uncovered parking spot.

If you refer to the manuals, you didn't need to change ATF during 1k km service.. Thats why I prefer going to Proton Edar SC rather than authorized SC which didn't bother to read the service manual and only want to make more profit. sweat.gif

Haha. But in a way, you can delay the next gear oil change. That's what I did on my Myvi anyway. And you can flush the steel bits in the transmission early before it worn your gear teeth.

I'm not a car expert though I took automotive during my tenure as a student. Just my 2 cents and to comfort my feeling as well. HEHE.

Its actually quite subjective to say wether its worth it onot... But no harm done if you change your ATF (this I can assure you laugh.gif ) and theoritically its good to change it. But for its worthiness.. Its up to you. If you feel good after changing it, then its worth it lar.. thumbup.gif

best solution, see wat the manual says... after reading awhile in da net, thats the best piece of advice most of them give... modern ATF can last around 50,000km, that time u change the ATF n filter... make sure use back da ori proton ATF coz its still da best.... not da same like engine oil where u can change2 brand n type... each gearbox has its specific ATF that u must use...
