QUOTE(xaw5126 @ Apr 20 2008, 08:13 PM) er... i got a customer, who is buying the drive, cos he uses it lots. he will buy another one if this one dies outside the warranty. if you need the drive, get it. if not, don't. the MBA Superdrive can be used almost anywhere, and it fits the whole "ultra-slim" concept we're driving at here. I read somewhere that the MBA external drive only works for MBAs. Or am I wrong?

It is designed and catered for mba Anyway, for non-mba to use that external superdrive is not worth the money anymore. RM369 i think? Just get any slim type external dvd writer. It is all nicely packed, they are NOT slot drive (tray) ,lightscribe enabled, and universal (works on both pc and mac). Cheers

QUOTE(kwekeugene @ Apr 20 2008, 03:41 PM) *chuckles* I'll be going for the cheap and ugly solution when Bluray drives are more affordable in the future. TS, have you considered Lacie external DVD writers? They are quite good looking if it is not a must to be portable. Who is seeling Lacie Lightscribe Writer? I understand before MacAsia is the retailer, but Machines only sells Lacie External Drive only...
