Well, I don't think anyone knows the answer to that question. It's just like a virus, actually. Sony Ericsson didn't realize that they've somehow inserted this so called virus in the firmware for the K850.
*
lol, bro seriously? virus?

its just a firmware glitch la, some sort of bug in the firmware which is not fixed in the few releases they came up with ...

virus ... lol

Dude, that's why I said, it's just a "SO-CALLED" virus. Get what I mean?

bro,do u think the new firmware will improve camera quality?no white overxpose+ purple fringe?
coz wanna sell it and change to other baby if theres no solutions on k850 camera
*
I sure do hope that the new firmware will improve the camera quality and add the "face detection" feature (since it's just a software trick). No matter what phones you use to take pictures, there'll always be overexposure.

seems buying K850i for myself is a bad idea. SE still not release improve firmware and nobody can hack the system yet. if can hack the system, is any chance the camera and picture quality improve at all? and can BROD can be fixed? hmm, i guess i need to wait and c for it. smile.gif

To be frank .. i've used the K850i for 6 months, and there's no software glitch or problem at all for me .. not even BROD ..

Just auto restart few times when the phone hangs due to pressing certain function too fast ..

I still love K850i .. but i prefer K800i more ..

Just wait and see. It seems like XS++ 3.2 is almost there.
I'm quite sure once it's been released, tons of new, improved cam drivers will come as well.
And I'm hoping for an improved acoustics too. thumbup.gif
