anyone been to setia gemilang auto sdn bhd ? Thinking of going there this sat to look and possibly get the swift. one of the best deals in mudah for the swift i think.

This one you really need to go to showroom and ask SA and depends on your negotiation skill, you can get a lot of free gift from SA.

Last time my SA give my swift gx tinted glass, black colour door visor (marked with swift), bonet cover (gx don't have, only glx got), and choosing own plate no.

Last time SA offer me door visor or spoiler, i choose door visor, now i see some swift with Monster spoiler really let me drooling.

If i not mistaken, currently Suzuki got do Hari Raya promotion, offer free maintenance or cash rebate. Need to ask SA to confirm though.

Driving the swift is totally different feeling from driving other car, the suspension is slightly stiffer (after you get used to it, still comfortable actually). You had the feeling the car really planted on the ground (Initially i really not get used to it), handling good, infact i really not sure need to add stiff ring and other staff to improve the handling, as i driving in city, most of the time when i doing high speed cornering, most of the time ended up "cucuk" behind other car hogging the right lane.

Anybody here got sound when go thru speed bump?? mine got ngek ngek sound at 20-30kmph... small sound only.. but not always got...

lcy851031: I know that feeling or cornering~~ mine was CR-V tailing behind me... end up when cornering slow down.. on highway go left right cut ppl... but end up sked cornering and i leave it behind~~~ sooo nice feeling~~~

To me one of the fun moment is when i drive through the Subang exit into the Federal Highway (the road that branch to two way, one is go to glenmarie shah alam, another go into Federal Highway in KL direction), some of the car try to cucuk/overtake me, but when reaching the exit, they always start doing hard breaking, while i maintaining constant 80km/h go through the corner, and exiting the corner without seeing that car at my back already.

Now a bit lazy to cut corner to train my skill, as most of the time i always ended up cucuk behind other car hogging the lane.

Most of the time whenever i see had car in front of me at the corner, i always release gas pedal to do engine braking (but i feel swift engine braking effect no so apparent when on D mode), only use single hand to maneuver through the corner, but my car still can cucuk behind other car.

How long is ur swift? Sounds like bushing issue.

1 week old only..
I will try to monitor the sound more.. maybe open window and off radio as only sometime i heard it...
Going abit too fast on speed bump will cause this??
Maybe i should change my driving pattern abit... last time was having SLK with light engine n body so when passing speed bump is now i feel the engine is heavy... when passing the bump, i feel the front sink in more...

Go back SC, ngek ngek sound confirm bushing issue.
I sat on a fren's car before, the stiff absorber will juz give u "tok tok tok" like a rock.
Ngek ngek sound is usually bushing, or mayb the friction of tyre but very less likely.

As for the sinking in front, try stiff ring first, that may change your entire driving experience while going after bumps.

my car is new . that day my friend use my car and drive till 100 /110 km . is this ok . he said . car still warranty mah . he said to me . i only drive 80 km only . man is my new car engine will be not ok or else ... i not yet tested my car till 100 / 110 km sigh :/ btw is it ok to change the player to the papago swift oem player . i see at brothers they selling at RM 1880 plus labour RM 1900 ..

yes that one .. they claim its suzuki oem player .. got papago gps and he said he give me free reverse camera . dunno if wanna burn my money on this .

1900 is quite cheap!!! i was quote 2.2k include installation... but end not did not fall to the poison.. saving the amount to go for handling mod~~~

New Keyless version no more press brake auto lock due to some safety issue i guess... so yeah.. it is manual..
I make it habit as when get up car is 1st Lock than Mirror out.. when parking... Mirror in... than check key only get down...

what colour is ur swift ? mine blue sigh .. still not tinted and no visor :/ .. seems tempted to change the player but confirm will void warranty rite hmmm . the papago seems nice . but dunno whether to go for it or not ..
