2 yrs old CBU want to sell at above RM60k? U must be kidding.    If what you said they are selling at 68k, then I would choose a NEW one only at 70k lor. Got 3 years warranty somemore... 

When the CKD came out, their CBU has no value... kesian!

My house got a 2008 Suzuki Swift CKD, from what i can see,the quality is almost as good as the CBU unit, IMHO much better than Honda City(I am drivin this, Year2004 Vtec)/Toyota Vios). Very nice car to drive, just feel a bit underpowered

FC is quite good, comparable to Altis 1.8G. RM50 can go about 350km-400km, bear in mind that this is on a new car with less than 1k mileage, it might improve after the first service(10k).... FC wise do not worry la it's better than most of the car on the road, handling wise is really superb compared with my H.City 

OTR is around 72k, interest rate around 2.4%(Might get lower if your credit from bank is good) , overall nice car to drive, but not really suitable for family of 4 due to not so comfortable back seats  + small boot

CKD = assembly in Malaysia by local or probably Indonesia or Bangladesh labour
CBU = 100% made in Japan mostly assembly by robot

I suggest u go and have a look at the CKD version, just compare it with Honda/Toyota then u can see the quality is much better on Swift

What i mean is CKD swift build quality is definitely better than Honda City/Vios.... Too much nasty plastic on City and Vios 

suzuki swift owner reporting in...well jus get my blacky CKD on 28/2, driving for bout 2 months d...very happy with it...good handling le...

bout FC, i can said is much more heavy comparing same class 1.5 like vios and city....1st thousand km, is take me  bout 18-19cent/km le..(town driving)...nw mine is bout 8k++ d, city+highway, cost me around 16cent/km...

swift is 4 auto, D->3->2-L....so if u drive by D, sure is underpower, coz the rpm is keep btw 2k-3k rpm.....so when driving around town area, my advice is push to 3, u wont feel it was underpower, then when on highway, push it back to D after 110-120km/h, it will save a lot of FC.

personally, i prefer swift vs city (vtec)....when i drove my sis city, i feel hatchback is much more stable and good cornering....honestly speak, 72k is worth for it...

I also almost gonna buy swift but ended up with jazz 

i dun think it available in malaysia le....no news at all when it launching..
i m here... RPM on 110km/h is quit low, i think around 3000, or even lower than tat when u on D mode....engine noise is quit quiet even on tat speed...

any idea how much does a set of 4 shocks and the front brake pads cost for a 1.5 swift?
