Yes, as per post #17 on Page 1 by SHOfrE3zE says, use iphonebrowser.

For those of you that don't know where to find iphonebrowser, just GOOGLE iphonebrowser, download it, use it as per instructions and it should work. And with iphonebroswer you can do a lot of other crap, not just install this "Malaysia as an Option in Contacts Address Book". You can customise some themes, install other stuff etc.

errr gengstapo ... this fix is for the option to add malaysia in contacts. Your problem is more related to AppSupport and nothing to do with region format.

The pinpointing thingy only works if u have an US based address ... i think. Try open Google maps and search petaling jaya or anywhere in malaysia (except kuala lumpur), surely googlemap can't find it, what more to say an address here in malaysia.

Has any one else tried using this patch with their 2G Iphone on 2.1 Firmware?
I did this and my phone went into a loop booting up. just the apple logo with intermittent vibrating.
