did anyone try downloading with the latest xunlei on a private tracking file ?
did it manage to capture any seeds or peers ?
and what are the addresses of the seeds or peers,

kindly experiment on this if u have the time. i would like to know if its able to capture or force seeds into the download, and even if it does gets forced, are the seeds for the private tracking torrent held only by local ip's.

wipe clean xunlei before u install the older version. use regedit to clean up whats left inside. make sure u leave no stones unturned.

if its spyware u're afraid of because of xunlei , i doubt there are any.

preventive measures u can take before installing xunlei are

1 - updated antivirus, AVG serves just fine. if u have norton or nod or kapersky, good for u.
2 - spyware blaster such as spybot can be downloaded for free. use the tea timer as real time protection. no harm. been using it for 2 yrs now.
3 - patch all your security loopholes on your winxp. go update em.

i've already posted a warning before, DO NOT SHOW THE FILES THAT YOU ARE DOWNLOADING. blacken it, or squeeze the tab closer. no one wants to know how pirated a person is.

tcp 1/2 open is not corrected that way. u have to download event id and patch it on your winxp.
and please dont patch some ridiculous numbers in or else it'll cause more damage.



torrent file no seeders

if your torrent file has no seeders, means no one in the world has a complete set of that file. u need to have at least 1 seeder to be able to get the whole entire file.
there are many places you can find torrent files but none of it can be discussed in here. its against LYN policy to discuss further as it will lead to copyright infringement and illegal materials.
there are many ways to patch tcp 1/2 open connection on winxp. a little google will help you a long way. Event ID is normally what people use to patch up the 1/2 open connection. its safe to patch between variants of 50-100. anything above that could lead to disaster. highly not recommended to go beyong the 100 mark although some do.
how to do it ? download a event id patch for 1/2 open connection and run the patch. it shud appear in cmd prompt.
a tip for all, patch the 1/2 open connection only if u know what you are doing. a little bit of reading on wikipedia would guide u to a successful patch.

the problem is u dun read the previous pages enough.
for that download bit, if u're saying u dont wanna use xunlei to download whatever clicks from your http, u cna always click cancel.

@aviva - according to you, you're on .426 and there wasnt any info on users with .426 other than you and wriggler. if u've read thoroughly enough, u'd gotten a more stable release from HeHeHunter's site. Same solution as before, apply only the versions that have been responded positively so far. either get .327 or .329. i've tested these 2 thoroughly using several connections and multiple computers with separate OS's. i've had tons of coding errors with versions .4xx and there is a specific reason why i highly recommend the older no-ad versions of .327
.327 is up for grabs and is on high recommendations.

not necessarily. i use event id to patch it though. there are more than 4 ways to patch it and event id happens to be the easiest for me. it might not be so for you. you can read more bout it on microsoft's website.
a safe number should be 50-100 but it depends on your OS and other factors.

so few days u try lemme know if u crash. also go test using mutiple simultaneous downloads on see if got errors of any sort or not. i remembr 441 if have more than 6 simultaneous torrents downloading at the same time, an hour later the xunlei client GG jor.

if u point over the titles at btchina, it expands and shows u the picture or a screencapture what. gives u a summary even for most.
