I'd like to thank King Kong for making a thouroughly(is that how you speel it?) enjoyable tourney. As far as i could tell, everything was done cleanly and all the people EMO played against were very sporting and fair.

I had a great time, meeting old friends and making new ones. There were MANY amazing games and my only regret is that i was unable to see ALL of them. To all the soldiers who played against us. You guys were great, we were stressed throughout every game =))

And if any of my team said anything that annoyed or pissed you off, please send me a PM and i'll pull out a few toenails. Muahahahahahah!!

Gratz to team1 for tapauing us =.= (we'll get you next time...) and SWL for going the distance and flattening 90% of the opposition. PEW PEW!!

king kong, i just wanna ask some question regarding esports admins.. does we have an esports association? I mean like soccer, they have FAM (Football Association of Malaysia). I was thinking if there is an association, why dun propose to Rakan Muda through their Rakan Cyber for some budget.. Later can organize a monthly tourney (not only for cod4). With this our local gaming industry will boost up..

Heh sorry in-joke. We were arguing whether the laser should be hand-held or back-mounted. I contend that a shark cradling a laser rifle in its arms flippers fins as it lays waste to its foes is extremely bad ass whereas a laser strapped to a shark's back is about as cool as a fanny pack on a chubby twelve year old. We'll count your post as one vote towards "back-mounted" though.

end of june may be a hard time for college students, its exam time. If its pushed to early july, you'll see better response i believe, since its also school holidays if im not mistaken.

Anyway, that meeting can be held end of the month or beginning of june, but i will need all the Team leaders to attend. That list will also be forwarded to organizers, so that they can get confirmed slots far earlier for smooth running of competitions. But this will require the aid of the players as well, since gamers tend to be.... irresponsible when it comes to responsible duties... lol

Anyway, i hope we can get a meeting up and come to conclusions on what to do with our future competitions. E-sports in malaysia demands that we get organized (if you ever want malaysia to recognize e-sports) and many other things, like sing the national anthem and getting the media involved in events like these. You can start with Star Metro.

To make an E-Sport you need an official organization, that holds competitions, sets rules and regulations, enforces them and also, as cyber-atheletes - like real life atheletes they have a responsibility to uphold as individuals as well. Cyber atheletes cannot be related to crime, drugs or any unhealthy events and in Malaysia the rules are probably stricter.. if there will be any for that matter.

Without proper clarification by anyone or the support of Government bodies, there will never be an ESport in Malaysia. Government bodies in Games would also mean politics involved in gaming.. which i really don't want .... really..

He had never really gamed before yet he was convinced cyber cafes were hotbeds of drugs, gang violence and illicit sex. I used to go every friday after school and he would always warn me to be careful not to get caught up in a gang fight lol....
