juz installed lightened crank pulley and doesnt really feel any significant improvement.. anybody had installed? mind giving me ur feedback?

i would suggest overhaul for that kind of money
4G91 no doubt, its a good engine.. however, please be advised that those engine is even older than ur car age.. hence, most probally u will need to overhaul the engine before plonking into ur car.. that already involve another sum of money.. no overhaul also can but u probally ended up with more trouble.. but if u really into 4G91, estimated cost is :
Halfcut - 3.5k for auto, 4k for manual
Overhaul (timing belt etc) - 2k
installation (all sort of oil for engine protection) - 1.3k
estimated cost = 6.8k

i would really suggest u save up to get that amount of money and do the job skali gus..
and when u look for 4G91 halfcut, remember DON'T RUSH! look for the engine condition etc.. and make sure ur halfcut come with digital climate control aircond

since his is 1.5, brake upgrade not so important kua..

btw, puspakom will charge u rm60.. 1 is rm30 inspection, 1 is arahan khas jpj rm30 also..
but i dont think u need to go puspakom since ur engine is 1.5 to 1.5
u juz need to get it endorse at jpj..

btw, as killerz622 said, u might need to get the rear brake upgrade to rear disc and that will cost u another rm800 include workmanship..

few milisecond to few second late brake effect
and drum brake tend to get hot easily due to the non-ventilated design
but handbrake wise, definitely drum brake better than disc

but 4G91 is 1.5 ma
and not really compulsary to install disc brake lah..
new car like hyundai matrix and nissan latio still running rear drum brake lol

no need to be regret lol.. what is done is done.. enjoy the world of modification
btw, i found some info in JPJ website stating the requirement to endorse the engine.. if u take 4G91, confirm no need puspakom and u save a lil bit of money for endorsement and checking and you probally dont want to change into rear disc 1st until u r financially stable again

but TS lack of cash, so i think if he really change the whole halfcut, he better control his right foot 1st

if ur dad work halfcut shop, that should save u another 1~2k lah

i juz tested my auto wira.. get around 11~12seconds

i found a short stretch at seri petaling in front of endah parade.. of coz, only at midnight lah.. no car
