Sony had not release any new models yet for the 32 inch', if I'm not mistaken. The model you've mentioned above is definitely a bit more advanced (with better specs) than the current Sony models, which cost about the same price.

Swatty, if u got a bit more extra, try looking for 32 inch Sony D Series. Also good for Blu Ray movies with the PS3 if you want lah.

Yes Sony Bravia is the best HDTV so far. Go for D, V or W Series. But your budget seem to me you only can afford S Series only maa

If you are planning to get Sony LCD tv, better wait a while. Recently they just launched W400 series which us Full HD for 32",40",46" and 52". After this S400 (low end), V400 (mid range) will be in market. S series most probably around end of this month or early next month. All models now high gloss for the tv stand and bezel. Much2 better than 07 models.

So more reason for you to get the sony but sadly I just bought the S series not too long ago which is 2699 |

Current prices for Sony 32" Bravia LCD TVs
KLV-32S310A = RM2.3K KLV-32V300A = RM2.7K KLV-32D300A = RM3.6K (this model has very low supply in stock, only a few Sony Authorised Dealers have it) When buying a Sony Bravia, make sure to ask a free HDMI cable because if you don't ask they purposely will forget.... Consider sharp as well. Their Aquos line is pretty fantastic. Best way to decide is to watch the screens yourself! FYI, Sharp spent more time in LCD production business than Sony. They were the first to break into the LCD market.
