hahaha awesome awesome awesome.. my HD A/V is at a slow down now cuz im going for portable audio.. my wallet is at a critical state now.. lol spent just over 3k USD on my portable audio craze oredi in the span of 2months.. LoL! damn and i thought speaker cables were expensive... a good 4" headphone cable can easily cost 190usd... haha

huhu, yeah, I'm not too savvy about headphones, I've got my sennheiser with me and it's good enough, for now. But yea, just need to get more blu-ray. Cheers bro!

i keep a discipline of min 20bds per month. should be no prob for u with THAT MONSTER of an HT room.. lol i can imagine an inner wall compartment with a push n slide door to be installed or 'fixate' in ur HT room to tuck away all ur blurays.. increase the aesthetics even further north.. lol

and the yammy im using is doing its job hehehe will upgrade as soon as i end this headphone phaze.. once i get all im after (hopefully this month) then i should be back on track with my HDs! haha

U remind me i once got a valve pre amp,brand "Anthem Pre 1L " by Sonic Frontier,match with Classe power amp,driven a pair of Sonus Faber spk,wow,very nice sound,but for pure audio with small room like mine,i still prefer bookshelf spk these days

I tell you they've come a long way since the Pre 1L, They're entry level AVM-20 sounds unbelievable, but the D2 is something else. My only shrug is that I don't have the Speakers to show it's true capabilities. Maybe in 2 years, would like to upgrade to Klipsch THX Ultra 2 speakers. Then, No more upgrades man. Can spend on BD

Not really since the pj is bright enough for dayview. HM does not allow it to be sealed. Ventilation purpose.

huhu, I do agree with anyone who says lots of other people have better sound than mine, It's the speakers I tell you , don't discriminate amps and preamp

my my pspboy/myqd.. i wont enter that world yet.. classe.. anthem.. haha.. honestly i have a slight bias towards martin logan's electrostatics.. those babies will be mine... will get it for my wedding! haha

currently speakers = movies.. headphones for music.. currently my headaudio = creamy sound... hahaha

my fren got a pair of martin logan but cant remember which series.However,one side of the ribon tweeter was rosak and cant repair,dun know still at his store room or not.Maybe can get cheap cheap from him?

currently saw a pair of Apogee Centaur Minor USED selling for RM3.3 k in KL,quite old spk made at 1991,scored very good review at Stereophile that time,the price is tempting....

psp-boy,ur recent HT's pics are nice,especially with the effect of 12mm ( ur flickr got nice pics taken with 70-200 2.8? Is it the VR version? )

htkaki,ur set up now looks much more tidy.It's time to upgrade to Klipsch THX series liao ( dun tell me no $$$,look at ur sales figure,almost 1/2 million oledi ). Another thing,ur HM not allow u to paint the back/side walls into Black huh? The yellow color reflect light a lot wor....

Even using the 12-24 I had to zoom to 18mm if not vignette on the d3, since it is a dx lens, and yes the 70-200 is VR

ok,i see,but at 18mm it's WIDE,more or less like my 10mm in 1.6 crop body.Another thing,i like the pics u took with 50mm 1.4 at flickr,love the bokeh,looks cool. BTW,i strongly suggest u should use ur own pic "boxing champ" as ur avator here which is much better then ur current one
