thats the PC-007.
but the ones sold at ATE comes with a huge 25cm side panel fan with mesh. everything is exactly the same as the picture except the side panel. its within ur budget and ull have extra cash to pay/ buy parts to have ur side panel like that. |

QUOTE(nemesis94 @ Apr 29 2008, 09:20 AM) download the ATE price list i attachedlist down all the models that are subs RM400 browse through Lian Li official web page google for reviews on the particular case (if there is any) QUOTE(nemesis94 @ Apr 29 2008, 09:20 AM) ..... that's a PC-7 (not available locally)wanna ask what type of casing is this?i steal it from www.hardforum.com http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h121/maliciousred69/IMG_0200-1.jpg ..... closest case to this model that available here is PC-7YCF basically is just the same model, just that Lian Li switch the sidepanel to a big mesh panel instead a transparent panel (like in the pic), then rename it to PC-7YCF btw, the case in the pic is a modded one, don't expect the handle bar thingy to be available QUOTE(nemesis94 @ Apr 29 2008, 09:20 AM) A = SilverB = Black Plus II = just included some cooling accessories with it (which i find it utterly useless) eg. PC-7 & PC-7 Plus II, both are the same model, except the Plus II version got some cooling accessories came with it Attached File(s)

I was kinda free last weekend, so I figured it's time to cleanup the insides of my PC-60 and do some other minor mods.
First things first, a fan swap for my Liberty 500W. And remove the grill as well. Fan used to swap in was a Yate Loon 120mm. Only 1350rpm max compared to the stock which can go up to 2600rpm. ![]() Here's a look at a slightly modifed intake filter. I cut up the stock filter from lots of small round holes into a single big square hole for better flow, then installed an aluminum mesh filter using some bolts and nuts. ![]() My HDD setup, a primary 160GB and a secondary 120GB. Need to replace the 120GB with a 320 or bigger soon heh. HDDs are suspended within the stock HDD rack using elastic cords to minimize seek and vibration noise. ![]() Overall look of the interior. ![]() The black material lining the floor, rear and roof of the casing is Superlon. Some basic sound dampening material, looks nice, but it made a minor diff. I used it to cover the insides of both side panels as well. SATA cables are kinda ugly looking, but not much choice given the layout. Overall, it's OK for me, still not silent, but it's OK as long as I'm not deliberately listening for it. For those who are interested in the fan setup: Intake: Yate Loon 120mm Exhaust: CM Alu Fan 80mm Ninja HSF: Scythe 800rpm 120mm I like to keep the fans at 1000rpm or less if possible: ![]() This post has been edited by evilnickwong: Apr 29 2008, 11:01 PM |

You can ask for Billy when you're there.(is he still there? boy it was long since i was last there) Btw, i've just got my 2nd LL. My old one which the specific model still remains a myth as it's already too old will be sold to another friend. Will wash up the good old PC-71 and build it up. Doom, u still in UK? Might need a couple of stuffs for this case... |

vincent09: Thanks for the pic. You're right, perhaps I should reverse the HDDs. But I think the reason I didnt do that last time is because it's abit tougher to do with the drives suspended. I shall try next time I'm free.

@evilnickwong,
try to change the exhause fan from 80mm to 120mm fan, 1st you can reduce the fan rpm, 2nd, better air flow for your entire system. it was just a simple mod, a blow hole and some drilling. rgds Added on May 2, 2008, 2:53 am QUOTE(Doom @ Apr 29 2008, 06:08 AM) yes, really a nice case. full alu and light weight.is it , Doom This post has been edited by overclockalbert: May 2 2008, 02:53 AM |

overclockalbert: Thanks for the suggestion. I already thought of that ages ago as I hate the 80mm exhaust, but as E-J@1 pointed out, there's just not enough space for one. It's enough to make me consider a A05 instead lol.

Doom: Modding 80mm to 92mm not worth the effort nia.
And that's a nice rig. I believe I saw the worklog over at [H]Forum. Owner's nick is Tremeloes I think, he's a professional photographer. |
