You'll get there. Better than that don't worry. He's had 11 years and if that's all he has to show, it's nothing.

Wtf x 2?

QUOTE(Aztec @ Jun 8 2009, 02:26 PM)
yo darkie...ive read that u have been training for about 10years now? if so then at what age did u start? any errors at the beginning?

cause ive joined gym for about 2 years now and i can safely say ive wasted about 1year+ of it by not working out hard enough..starting i was just doing cardio, some machines,no proper workout routine, useless diet  tongue.gif a lot of trial and error stuff..did u encounter the same things(this question can also be answered by all the guys who lift hard here)..

cheers!
*
You can consider me actually training for just 5 years. The first 3 years i was f***ing around, drinking water preworkout, not eating breakfast, waiting more than 3 hours after gym before eating anything. It was only after I met and chatted with Americans on AIM and met Terry Gallyot did I start seriously.

QUOTE(mcbarney666 @ Jun 8 2009, 03:21 PM)
Dude, I'm still learning even though I've a year and a half of solidly working out in the gyrm. Heck, I'm going in today trying to rectify my shoddy bench press! I guess it really is about trial and error for some and I think it applies to darklight as well. Remembered like he used to follow HIT or something.

Better late than never, Aztec!
*
HIT is inherently flawed from the beginning. Too much CNS stress, not enough volume. It's ok for deloading but not long term use. One simply cannot achieve linear progression indefinitely. If you're interested in low volume effective training, check out DoggCrapp, Dante's program.

QUOTE(fever003 @ Jun 8 2009, 08:37 PM)
hehehe i pity u JonYeap.. yeah i undestand u darkie, but dont la so garang.. ;P
*
Wtf x 3? sad.gif

Actually I'm really friendly in person. Lol. It's just that when i work out i get serious, not even cut chicks can distract me in the gym. I just don't pay them any heed.

Hell no! I'm sticking with the same weight. Lol! The 110's almost killed me. Maybe stay with 105's all the way. The last rep last week seemed to take an eternity.

so i need to change to chest/biceps, back/triceps?

Correct. Change it like kege says.

yeah, listen, but dont believe, nothing works the same for each and everyone..

i do chest,shoulder,triceps on a day....followed by back,biceps,traps....followed by legs n abs.....i feel fine with my routine...

just make sure to rotate and/or change your routine every 3-5weeks
*
Not really bro. It depends. If you're the casual bodybuilder who isn't concerned with maximum development or are short on time, that routine is fine. Definitely nothing wrong with it, but a lot of successful bodybuilders won't usually hit a same push or pull bodypart on the same day. They prefer at least 2 days of recovery then hitting the muscle when it's fresh. Heavier weights = more mass.

Can your poundages get any scarier? brows.gif
*
Nah, my poundages still weak sauce compared to elite bodybuilders. But I'm gonna push as hard as I can naturally. I need to be cautious though, should let my joints catch up. I think I'm sticking to the same poundages next week but try to go for higher reps.

lolz.. we're looking at a future ronnie coleman over here dude..

Lol, in a million years, even if I give it 110% in training, dedication, take juice and GH, I'll never look like Ronnie. Elite bodybuilders are born, not made.

3-4 years?
haha... darkie has been in this industry for a decade. =.=
thats not military press.
its smith shoulder press. haha...
military press is different.
*
Actually, consider it 5 years. I was fooling around the rest of that time. Just playing with machines. I was never serious before, never even touched free weights.

QUOTE(fever003 @ Jun 14 2009, 04:24 PM)
ah u are right,i thought it was military.. wink.gif military press of 100kg,i will kiss ur feet.. wink.gif
*
Military press = useless to bodybuilders. Doesn't develop shoulders as much as seated versions. We don't care about stability and core is secondary. Why should I even consider doing that? Btw, last military press i did for fun was 3 years ago at 80kg. 100 should be no problem if I want to focus on that lift.

QUOTE(D_Predator @ Jun 14 2009, 05:00 PM)
damn!!u freakin strong darkie!!!how d hell u do that?100 kg???!!..can't imagine myself doing that sort of weight..hahaha

Just wondering, do you shake your oats with your whey raw? or cooked and eaten separately? i'm looking for convenient in-between-lunch-and-dinner-while-out-and-about meals. thinking of whey + oats shake or whey + milk powder shake but not sure how the oats would taste. what's your take?

I stopped whey but i used to shake the oats raw. ot many can stomach them that way though.
