Summary: Genting Bhd has 20% of TauRx which is developing an Alzheimer drug currently just completed Phase III trial. TauRx is going to announce the finding in Alzheimer's Association International Conference, which Maybank Investment thinks is likely to be successful. Potential worth of company is USD 15 billion, with Genting's part worth 12 Billion ringgit!

Genting Bhd slipped into the red with a net loss of RM275.80 million in the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2018 (Q3 2018), compared with a net profit of RM190.04 million in the same period last year. No interim dividend has been proposed for Q3 2018.

Been some time haven't seen you active. Hows your port doing?

So whats your take on GENM? Enter now or sideline.

Studying GENM pass few year financial report, Cash were increased drastically but same goes to debt, so most of the Cash are actually coming from loan. But most of the debts are long term.
And alot of money has been used in investing (to the theme park i guess) so Free Cash Flow are very negative in the pass few years.
Any add-on on positive side?

The positive - Genting Highland (local business) does register good increase profit after major revamp lately.
