Pls read carefully what I wrote :

"I prefer Dim Sum World, hmm tasty and worth the price, (RM3/basket)"
which means is a matter of preferance and I do think it WORTH the price, And I do not think its expensive for the quality. So whats the matter with you?

Instead you "kindly" reply "u like to let people "liok" you nicely thats my assumption. either you're the biggest water fish or u love fueling inflation"Rather than giving constructive comments why do you have to criticise and comment if you dont like my preferred choice of shop and my willingness to pay?

"i am smart. and there is no such thing as cheap. affordable yes, not cheap. i am not you. "
And for your information I do not say the dim sum RM3 is cheap, I stated clearly its worth the price , and neither can you prove what level of afforability? And is that your level of afforability ? So that's how you show how smart are you?

And BTW, what do you mean "I am not you" ? ?
I am asking you whats is cheap and nice when you stated earlier I LIKE TO KENA LIOK.and pls understand here I am trying to share whats my prefer place and what I think is nice, do you think yourself are polite enough when people here are sharing comments. And this is a fair market and if they are selling and you are willing to pay, then there is no such thing called "liok" .

Read carefully IN MY OPINION, i would prefer there and i think its tasty and worth the price considering the quality of the food I had.

p/s: I do not at any time intend to flame you however I do not THINK you are nice enough for me to reply me you nicely

again i reiterate, there is no such thing as cheap. all else is irrelavant and off topic. any personal matters or grudges can be resolved through pm's. keep the thread clean and kindly re-edit.

Anyone knows where I can have good dim sum for weekend lunch in KL/PJ? I'm not looking for those dim sum in coffee shops because it's for a birthday lunch for family and I'd like somewhere cozy if possible. Any suggestion? And the price? Thanks.

There's a pretty ok one in Kuchai Lama. It is housed inside a club. I think Sun Club or someting like that. During weekends (Sunday) and public holidays, all dishes are RM3.50. Yes, RM3.50 including those cooked one, eg. chee cheong fun or lobak kou.

If you're coming in from seremban highway/KL, go into Kuchai Lama. You'll pass Ajinomoto on your left and a very big oxidation pond on your right. Go right will take you to NPE highway to Subang/Sunway/Shah Alam. Don't take that. Instead, follow left into Kuchai Lama and you'll come to a set of traffic lights. Here you turn left and follow the road. Right before the next traffic light, there's a big building (Sun Club or something like that) on your left. Turn in there (parking's free) and just enter the building and head upstairs. It is air conditioned and during Sundays and Public Holidays, there are a lot of patrons. Dim Sum is served till 4pm.

Alternatively, there's Janbo Restaurant in Seri Petaling which is a buffet. But the food is not that nice, so, it's not recommended. However, it is recommended for those who prefer quantity over quality.

Cheers and enjoy and send my birthday regards to whoever that's celebrating with you.

Hey thanks for the bday greeting. It's my mom's bday so we thought of bringing the family for a nice relaxing Sunday dim sum lunch. biggrin.gif Do you remember the name of this restaurant? And the club is public? I mean everyone can go in? Any pre-booking necessary? Also, have you been there fairly recently? Because there are so many restaurants that started out serving good food but got worse later. Any distinct landmark nearby the club building?

There's this Shanghainese restaurant in JW Marriott KL that serves very good dim sum and xiao long bao (one of the best). Also, Chynna at Hilton KL Sentral also quite good. However, these 2 quite pricey but nice environment and good quality dim sum wink.gif
