not alot of variety, but confirm u is fresh, its cooked and its wayyyy cheaper than the stupid jln ipoh punya.

i'm there on weekends, feel free to call me around 1-2am i'm there usually till 5-6am drinking my nice chinese tea with my friends.
if u wan i get the boss to cook the "lou chee yuk" for u. RM 15 per person very good. if u eat "chee sau" or pork knuckles, i'll get him to prepare that as well. been my lepak place for quite some time now.

he treated us very nicely so now on my own will i do some promo for him lolz.

Pertaining to the Dim Sum restaurants in Puteri Puchong.

Currently on the Mizi steamboat side, there are 3 actually i.e

1) Hong Kee - corner lot at the end side of Mizi - so-so & reasonable (previously Baywatch corner - low foo tze)
2) Taiji Eateries (Formerly Ming Court)- Re-opened last mth after closing down for "Renovation" I suspect it is not renovation but copyright problem wth the famous Ming Court dim sum in Ipoh!! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif ..After re-opening now their biz suddelny surged - Recommended!! thumbup.gif
3) Hong Kong Chef - Beside Puteri Mart - Newly opened but pricing abit on high side...so-so only.. yawn.gif

In Puchong Jaya, there are 4 Dim Sum restaurants wth the Yuen Garden taking the bigger chunk of the customer and 2nd goes to Kam Hin (A branch of Sri Petaling) as earlier recommended by another member.. The other two is Maxim & Nana..if I'm not mistaken.. hmm.gif

Yuen Garden used to me my weekend Dim sum favourite as the food is good & reasonable until I hv an arguement wth 1 of the cook there. Nevertheless it is still good probably still the best in Puchong right now before Taiji eateries (Ming Court) opened. I suspect Taiji cooks are ex- Ming Court in Ipoh... hmm.gif hmm.gif Let me korek more.. hmm.gif biggrin.gif

if its the al rajhee side of shops, then it sux.
if its the one nearer to mizi steamboat then that place has rats the size of cats as well but everyone ignores it.

OK for good dim sum in Sri Petaling I'd suggest Phang Key

Read about Kam Hin in Jalan Kuchai Lama and I have to say the reviews aren't that great.. too crowded too

Crowd = Bad (esp. during weekend or public holiday)
Food = So-so nia.... the best is the Siew Mai, Hai Kau and Fried Lobak Kou (i dare to say...weekdays food taste better)
Price = Quite steep...prepare RM 18 per pax...for filling stomach
Parking = Hard to find...even on weekdays...
Service = Not too bad...efficient when come to settling bill....hehehe....

And just FYI, the Puchong Jaya Kam Him was used to be the same boss branch...but now have sold to a new owner.

thats a must go place. chinese tea is damn cheap. can sit down refill whole nite is a 1 time charge. its open 24/7, food is great, atmosphere is great, service is great ,and its cheaper than alotta places. boss will come to talk to u, check on your food and service and sometimes change the tea leaves for u. they will never shoo u away.

good for older people like me lolz.

vkeong if u go during weekends after 1 am feel free to call me. i'll be there often.
