Anyone here taking up their free 4 months package for Maxis One Club member? There is no contract for this as in T&C. But when i get my modem and sim card from Maxis center, that staff there told me that i can't downgrade my package after the free trail so i just take the RM38/mth for 1.5GB package with rebate RM30x 6month for the modem purchase. So overall i just pay for RM180 and get the modem, then after 4 month i only need to pay RM38 -RM30(rebate)= RM8/mth for the next 6mth.

But then yesterday when i called Maxis customer service,The staff told me that i can downgrade or upgrade as i wish as there is no contract. I ask him if now i use 3GB(RM58/mth) for 4mth free, then downgrade to 1.5GB (RM38/mth) can or not, he say can and the rebate for the modem also still have.I double confirm wit him then straight away i ask him to upgrade to 3GB package already.

Now i wonder is the Maxis customer service can be trust or not. Dunno which is true. And in my mind now, since i get offer 4mth for free, why not i just take the 12GB package now then only downgrade back after 4mth.

Anyone try before? No contract izzit mean i can downgrade upgrade as i wish?

i have called CS to downgrade to 3GB package only haha dun want to waste money with 6GB anymore

and have U68 prepaid as backup purposes n utorrent as well~ need this backup coz sometime need to have internet to do work almost anywhere i am huhu

same like me, just to play with firewall.... but when not trotlled im sharing bandwidth with my friend and familly with beaming my wireless....(ad hoc)...

im using maxis broadband wit 1.5gb package
so if i download files more than 700mb will my speed will be downgraded?

I took up this bonanza promotion. The customer service straight ask me to take up the 3gb package since it's free.

Just now i called Maxis CS again and ask for upgrade 12GB package. They told me the free 4 month offer only for both value bundle 1.5Gb and 3GB package only. So the higher quota only 3GB at RM58/mth + rebate RM30 x 6mth.

After an hour, i receive call from Maxis to do a survey. She ask me to vote 1 to 5 star for few question. The max i vote is only 2 star. lol
Then she ask will i recommend maxis BB to friend, i just answer 100% NO Maxis. Just because of the line cut after quota.
Hope Maxis will cancel the new policy.

Its my internet fast ? or its just a normal speed ?

Any Maxis broadband user in Section 17/19 PJ? I'm planning to use it to playing online games, afk'ing 24/7 without disconnecting. Wonder will Maxis work just fine? I had read several comment about disconnecting such as WiMax.

Any suitable or cheapest price for student?

I can say all wireless BB is impossible to get 24/7 connection without disconnecting.
