since february only can connected to their gprs mode ... called maxis they said need to wait 14 weeks from 2009 ...

meaning that on 13th april then they only can solved/upgraded their system ...

from feb until now i cannot use at all ...

asked for waive charges, they said need to wait until problem solved then they only can calculate how much or how many months can rebate/waive back to me ... 

so now every month i'm paying for nothing 

now i start missing about streamyx already  

i always have a good time talking with Maxis CS, save for a couple of brainless staff.

the one that help me waived my termination fee was a good lady.

what happen to maxis.. from monday my connection always disconnect and the Rssi LED start to blinking.. before this it was ok...

may i know how can set my network to UMTS only?

Because i notice when my signal UMTS, i can get speed around 200-300kbs.

But when my network go to HSDPA, my speed will be slow around 50-100kbs only..

may i know your location?

Consider yourself lucky since Celcom was willing to install a HSDPA enabled node-B in your area.

After reading so many thread i still couldn't make up my mind which wireless ISP i should go for.
It's seems like Streamyx get a more stable service ? But Streamyx wireless ? Is it like Streamyx plan using USB plug-in modem or wat ? I dun really understand the wireless connection thing. I mean, Maxis use Huawei's USB thing, is it all wireless ISP use the USB modem to connect to service ?
I'm personally a streamyx fix line broadband user, from Kluang johor. On 512kbps(i know it's slow) plan , any my download speed really really sucks. I dunno whether it's capped or wat ? But highest speed i ever get is 56kbps on http or p2p download. That's the fastest i could ever get. And to mention abt P2P, is it barred or banned by ISP ? i mean, if i use BitComet or Free Download Manager or Flashget, the speed will be like 1-2kbps(Yes, 1-2 kbps), only xunlei gives me faster speed, sumthing like 20-30kbps after sometime, highest 40kbps++.
So...i really need some advide on which wireless ISP i should go for as i'm going to study in KL soon. Hmm..anyone knows the best service to be used in Cyber area ?

Guys, i need help with the HSDPA huawei e220 3G modem.
Usually, the program is plug and play, but when i try to run on a netbook, which has a maximum resolution of 1024x576, it can't run with the reason of : didn't meet the minimum requirement resolution of 800x600.
I read the manuals, yeah, u must have a 800x600 or above to run the software driver. So, any other suggestion to run it on the netbook?

For new subscriber, remember to turn on your windows firewall. When I first install the modem with my firewall off, my antivirus detected rootkit virus trying to modify pc boot execute! But the rootkit virus is blocked, once I turn on the firewall.

possible there is spyware inside ur pc which try download something to modify ur boot sector

But it still exist, even I already used many tools to scan (including boot scan) my pc and clean out the the suspicion files.

I actually used avast! boot scan to scan the whole hard disk, no spyware or virus found.

But if my pc's firewall is off, my pc always receive rootkit virus whenever i use maxis broadband to connect internet (yes, maxis connect still can connect internet when firewall is off). And this wont happened if I connect internet using celcom, umobile or streamyx.

I did reinstall the maxis app too, can't solve it.. Anyway i still think pc is clean, just to make sure firewall on when using maxis broadband.
