cant really do much test as company pc n nb cannot simply install wif other software..
and my personal pc alrdy died few months ago..

at least still can surf lowyat and those safe site... others than this, all illegal site such as youtube, prawn, chatting, etc all been blocked..
totally no life working in MNC..
luckily got maxis bb to use whenever i need to access some blocked site..

i cancel my tm phone n streamyx on 21st march.. last month they send me the tm bill n i wen to tm center to inquire about this.
after checking, the tm ppl said that my bill cycle time is on 22nd so i still need to settle the bill..
since it make sense, so i paid up the bill n double check again with them that my line has been terminated.
surprise surprise surprise.. i got another tm bill this month and i wen to them again last week and complain..
they just take the bill n go check.. after that said that i can just ignore the bill n dun need to pay..

i was like WTF... waste my time only... aren't they system all online 1?
how can terminate 2 months ago.. but till now, they still didn't update the system or something?

if u go thru the last few pages, u will find the answer...
once you hit yr quota, your speed will be throttle by maxis... anyway, the speed after getting throttle is around 128kpbs.
you won't be charge anything extra after you hit yr quota.

if small company, maybe IT ppl are the king as they control everything..
for big MNC company, we have proxy/firewall/etc to block those "illegal" sites.
the speed is fast here as I'm able to download software/patches from HP site at ~300KBps but then cannot download mov/etc..

our regional plant is in singapore and they subscribe the local ISP there.. we connect to the net using singapore proxy thru WAN.
not sure what package they are using, but i think it shld be quite huge lor.

but then, we used to have a corporate 1mb steamyx line to use last time.. but now, they alrdy control the usage of it..
only can use during emergency time.. what a waste... 1mb line left unuse all the time..

i think u r rite.. last month i manage to use up to 3+GB (1.5GB package)..
this month straight got throttle once i hit 1.5GB..

such an easy job for me.. just download few movie and sure you will exceed it..

somethin special happen to me yesterday.
my maxis bb has been throttle since like 2 weeks ago, but somehow the speed return bck to normal and i can get download up to 200+KBps yesterday.
somehow, it seem that i'm being capped again today.

anyone encounter same thing b4?

I'm getting 200+KBps which is like 1.6Mbps..
now it's back to capped speed which only manage to get download like 10+KBps (~128Kbps)

tested celcom once at my home.. totally cannot browse as it's crawling at snail pace although the signal is strong..
