Correction: Don't get Maxis BB if you're a heavy gamer/torrenter/downloader like this guy here.

Maxis BB is meant for fast surfing and e-mailing and you-know-what. Not meant for you to use and download all your pr0n. If you still wanna download go get Steamyx lah.

yeah i know maxis bb just for bussiness,not for youtube/games/torrent and i never a heavy downloader and not download porn.i one of the first customers got this broadband when it launch and because it promise have the fastest wireless broadband to date and also at that times only maxis bb have wireless services.But now they are rank lowest than any other wireless isp because they only have 3gb limit cap,even celcom have 5gb and now digi explore got 10gb limit.I dont mind have to play more just to get the good connection and speed,now just have to wait for p1 or digi broadband have coverage at my place.

Added on May 19, 2009, 11:05 amcorrection not 'play but 'pay' and dont to try defending the maxis bb cuz it never upgrade their srvices even get 3.6mbps also u get 3gb limit capped so it just wasted of money..i only need at least 10gb cap enough.

Maxis 3G Unlimited have no data cap, torrent cap........use whatever you want.....but buy your own modem or phone to use....

can i use usb modem also?is it good for play on9 games or at least better than maxis bb?

What is this? Care to elaborate? So far I've never heard of an unlimited broadband plan from Maxis, except their wired BB...

Well, if you ask me 3GB is too little for me too, but I guess to maintain this good speed it's worth sacrificing downloading less for. Sometimes you never know, the extra 1kBps will help you.

Also, what for if the speed slow, connection shaky and nothing goes right? Personally I've never heard any complaints about Celcom, guess it's good, but the modem itself is a bomb, complain also no use alr, because you've already bought it. Digi Explore? Heard of it, never went into detail before so not entirely sure.

If you finish your 3GB cap before the month ends, your speed will be throttled (mine got throttled to 20kBps< DL) until the next payment month.

Unlimited, you can download until your HDD is overloaded.

....then throttled to 20kbps ? but still can surfing right but it maybe abit slow right ? if like this then how i know me over usage 3 gb cap ?

....why i didnt see this plan now i already use the BB for 4 day already maxis throttle my speed now me over download 3GB then can i change to this plan while i keep using this BB modem ? or how to apply it ? who can help me ? do i need to pay other upfront again ? now the speed make me

nah....just avg speed.....sometime i get high speed 5.9Mbps......make sure HSDPA enable device to get high speed........

Any speedtest results? By the way would it work with the USB modem/wireless modem (black one)?
