Anyone ever done a comparison between the SR80i and the RS-1i? My dad currently owns the SR80i. I wanna know if the difference between those two models are a lot, or just minor differences.

I just know recabled SR60 sounds very alike as MS1.

From the spec comparing both grado and ms1. I guess they mod grado 125 to become ms1. Both spec are the same.

oh? theres even recable for sr60...then again if u include the price for recabling its almost the same as a stock ms1. is pcwork the only one doing it?

as in technical specs? i dont think u can compare it just like that..the signature might be different and grado 125 to ms1 sounds like a downgrade considering its more expensive

SR60 recabled ver. from pcwork sounds far warmer then the stock ones. Thus making the experience when listening to jazz becomes more relaxing then ever smile.gif

@metaloid:I'm not sure whether Pcwork is the only one who is doing it or not..But I know it really sound like MS1 though it don't really sound anything to me at that time, cause I was using MS1 that time when I compared..haha..
Well,you can get a SR60 first,then after u feel bored with it,then do recabling.

ksc75 recabled sounds near to MS1 too...
But considering MS1 is more comfortable..So still worth it..

I use KSC 75 as my portable rig..can just simply plug to ipod shuffle and enjoy d..though now the time of burning in is more than the time of listening..lol.
