i just saw this film in the cinema yesterday. with english subtitles ofcourse. but the film is not heavy on dialogues, so u dont really depend on the subtitles too much. although i dont recommend watching it without subtitles if u dont understand a word of spanish, coz there are still crucial moments that depends on dialogues being delivered.

i highly recommend this film to anyone. the slow part in the first act of the film is good in building up the characters and lays down the clues to the rest of the story. it's not just building up the suspends. this film would appeal to most japanese horror fans, however u get a different kind of chill instead. even if u're watching it in a cinema full of other viewers, u will still get the chills.

there are lots of memorable moments in this film, which i know will be copied by hollywood filmmakers soon enough...

yes, that scene freaked me out, as well as the rest of the theatre hahaha. i just knew the opening scene would somehow have a macabre twist somewhere in the film.

un dos tres tokalapalek (whatever that spells like) still creeps me out. i saw it again last night hahaha...

i asked my spanish friend, it spelled: "un dos tres toca la pared", meaning "one two three knock/touch the wall"
