For gaming, avoid plasma if you can. Although they offer better color than LCD, burn-in will be an issue even with newer gen plasmas.

Weekend went for LCD TV Hunting. And it was "HELL" ... all the LCD TV i also like ..hehehe ... there was pros and cons in each and everyone but there's 2 model i kinda like a lot. I was surprise by there's a 32" Plasma ..

LG 32PC5DVC - 32" plasma TV
Sharp AQUOS LCD TV LC32A53M
Sony 32" "V" series

These are the final 3 (sorta) narrowed down to my list.

Sighhh .......

I would suggest Sharp's 100hz A53.
Sony is just too much dough to justify those measly extra so called "enhancements". Unless you buy S series and blow the rest of your money on more games biggrin.gif. Preferably COD4. rclxms.gif

But if you really want to watch Astro with your LCD, I suggest go for Sony, due to the Astro Picture Enhancement.

One thing you should know about the Astro Picture Enhancement, it DOES NOT IMPROVE your astro picture, it will adjust or you can manually adjust your lcd tv to somehow match the broadcast quality of Astro.
