good to see lewis on podium today, but we are not that close to challenge the Ferrari. This circuit is hard to overtake; nick had to wait a few laps before he pass fisico

i hope this can be start of mclaren to grab the podium positions, every race onwards... its great to know heikki is ok... at first i tot sth is not rite since the camera footage seldom focus on tat crash, instead they juz show other f1 cars n drivers...

Thk god Heki ok...not much fight nw with Ferrari so strong nw...

never mind i revive it
wonder y this team performance is dropping, feels like lack of pace to catch up
is it the effect of the removal of ferrari confidential data from the car

hm i was wondering wit 3 stops, the car is lighter and faster
y they still prefer 2 stop?

3 stops got mroe benefit rite,
lighter, no need to take care so much on tyres, if got safety car it wont affect too much on the strategy.

3 stops - if unluckily you run out of fuel and safety car come out, you've forced to make a pit and penalized by 10 seconds stop/go penalty. Was it Heidfeld that kena in Barcelona?

you stop 3 times means there's another 33% more of it will happen lo

Added on May 13, 2008, 10:19 amFor one it depends on the length of the pit lane. Like at Magny Cours (short pit lane) - it is possible to win on 3 pit stops, Schumi did it with 4 pit stops. Like At Barca (Long pit lane) - teams tend to do single or two stops.

Another factor is the nature of the track; if the track is difficult for cars to overtake like in Monaco - so single stopping is ideal.

and lastly traffic on track - this one is not a big factor. Mostly teams has a preset fuel level so that they can switch from 1 to 2 or 2 to 3 pit stop acording to the traffic on track

for the 1st time since Kimi left McLaren, i start to hate him after the accident. Although its juz an accident but he caused Sutil opportunity...

Eventhough Lewis won, i think the team made a wrong mistake for Heikki for not order him unlapped himself, otherwise he would be on P7 or P6.

I think Kimi have problem with his brake or something?

But ya, good stuff from lewis. He puncture his tire rmb?

mclaren better hope 4 more dramatic races like this in the remaining 14 rounds as the team are prone 2 win in that situation more
