Before Ron Dennis took over McLaren : 1 Constructor championship, 2 driver championship

Ron Dennis era : 7 Constructor championship, 9 drivers championship

Hakkinen retired already , november last year.

McLaren is found guilty of having Ferrari data. If McLaren cars found to incorporate Ferrari design, they will thrown out of F1 championship. but you still see cars #22 and #23 right? Please get your fact right.

good to see lewis on podium today, but we are not that close to challenge the Ferrari. This circuit is hard to overtake; nick had to wait a few laps before he pass fisico

Added on May 13, 2008, 10:19 amFor one it depends on the length of the pit lane. Like at Magny Cours (short pit lane) - it is possible to win on 3 pit stops, Schumi did it with 4 pit stops. Like At Barca (Long pit lane) - teams tend to do single or two stops.

Another factor is the nature of the track; if the track is difficult for cars to overtake like in Monaco - so single stopping is ideal.

and lastly traffic on track - this one is not a big factor. Mostly teams has a preset fuel level so that they can switch from 1 to 2 or 2 to 3 pit stop acording to the traffic on track
