I just tried to send a feedback to the above link. After I written everything and completed everything and press submit, it replied this to me

'We're sorry, your fault report submission has failed.

Please try again later.

Error Code:
E001

All my written stuff disappeared into the 'black hole' and I have to rewrite completely again, but I now copied it to somewhere first. And i tried a couple of times again. Tak boleh jalan! Really suck! vmad.gif mad.gif

I do have this problem at first. Later on I checked through. There is one column with asterik *(a very stupid design for Maxis) where you must put 012/017 phone number or else it will pop up error code E001. You can just fill in any maxis phone number or with the package you subscribe.(All the wireless broadband package got a phone number. It is just we don't use it). Good luck to you!

Yep, I put the maxis wireless bb package number but still can't get through. shakehead.gif

does anyone know the OFFICIAL charges for calls made using the Home Voice Plan with the ZTE modem? On enquiring at the Mxxis TTD1 centre when i first signed up for the plan, and I was told RM0.30 Peak and RM0.15 off peak. Then i enquired as to whether the call charges were standard for all operators and throughout Malaysia. The answers were yes....

One fine day, my connection was disabled. Picked up the phone to call customer service only to hear an auto-mesage - "Sorry, your service has been disconnected.. please settle your outstanding payments... " or something like that.. Wow... Best thing was, I hadnt received a bill for the first 2 months (signed up in december).

Visited the TDI centre to get a copy of the bill... a whopping RM450++. could not understand the reason for the bill, asked for an itemised bill. Reply was - "Sorry sir, you did not apply for itemised billing, we have no record of any of your usage"... WtF.... so i might as well say i didnt use the service at all? nvm, paid up coz i needed the damn service badly. on asking customer service why i didnt receive a bill, the idiot just looked at his com screen and said maybe it got lost etc etc etc.. idiots all preening and modelling at work rather than concentrating on trying to solve their customer's problems.. lol.. best thing was, look left, look right, both customers are complaining about discrepancies in their broadband bills. LOL

next month, suddenly the damn connection got cut again.. went back to TDI centre.. Answer was "Sir, your current bill is RM250++, but your running bill is RM160++ at the moment"... wtf...... lol.. NVM.. paid up again....

Following week connection got cut.. AGAIN... gave up on trying to ask why the damn connection got cut, just paid the over the limit charge to activate the damn line again, and asked for an itemised bill.

didnt bother to do look closely at the itemised bill charges till last week when my damn line got cut again.. went back to complain, it took 3 staff at the payment counter and a trip to customer service, a 10 minute call from the staff there to their OWN maxxs customer service to find out the call charges - Rm0.30 and RM0.15 respectively. however, i've been charged Rm0.30 for all northern region calls, peak and off peak. which i was told would be at the standard Peak and off peak rate. now they're telling me that i had been misinformed lol.. of coz at great cos to myself lol.. a grand total of er.. RM800 or so now? for 4 months of lousy broadband???

all P2P traffic is blocked from 6am in the morning, the damn service is reset very often, or becomes unavailable temporarily, damn speed is VERY inconsistent, and definitely NOWHERE near 3.6mBs.... Time to move on to celcom or U i think. sleep.gif

I discontinued my maxis wbb a few days ago.........without getting any penalty charges!

I told them of the speed is too slow, cannot get connected etc. which are all true and honest. Also told them that the broadband is over subscribed and they acknowledge that.

They may ask u questions about the quality about the connection. They will check your previous phone calls to Maxis customer service. All the complains and feedback are recorded and written down in their computers. They make sure that u have previous genuine complains with their customer service.

If u wanna discontinue here is what u can do...... bring your modem, power cord & adapter, cable, sim card, antenna and battery; your desktop-phone and the phone line; your cardboard box for the phone and modem too; user manual for modem and phone. Other words, those stuff that they gave u on the first day, return everything that u got, back to them. Each of these items is tick on the a piece of a form.

Another piece of form for u to to sign for the discontinuation of the service. They will give u a blue copy form for your keeping.

At the end, make sure and make it clear that the penalty is waivered.

It was quite easy going through all that.

Good luck to all of u.

I can't wait for the 18 months automatic renewal contract to end. Before its going to end , I am going to throw the modem back to their face and say this is it , i am going to say goodbye to maxis. They can keep their ZTE modem
*
Walk right in to maxis centre and confidently tell them u wanna disconnect without the penalty...........i did that! (Read my post two days back). Whatever outstanding charges, settle with them. Make sure we kept all the payment receipts. And whenever the 'love letters' come, there is nothing to worry about.

Collecting payment is one of the hardest job in any business. I think maxis contract this out to a private company. More efficient this way....perhaps somebody in maxis in the past has not done his/her job well. hmm.gif Most probably they had much experiences on bad debt.

Senang cite i cannot play games with good latency with this maxshit..someone call the cop please!! vmad.gif

Definitely not suitable for online gaming............before u can shoot u are already dead!

Most wireless broadband has high latency or high ping! Play games, use a wired broadband.
