same issues..cant load YouTube sites at all...msn forever disconnecting..downloading is like back to the days of dial-up..can forget bout BT, takes a long time complete a download. And very unstable or no connection at all during rainy days. I think no doubt they block access to all these high bandwidth sites

Really makes me wanna terminate the thing asap when the darn contract expires

Anyway... i see some of u are trying to gather petition to complain to MCMC.. Let me know how I can help, coz I have connection to one of the Commission member. I really dont bother if it is better but i m just so pissed of them now

If they remain to give such lousy bandwidth, lets just all boycott Maxis. I rather pay double than live with such painstaking waste-of-my-time connection

Chances are even u bring it up to MCMC nothing would really happen. What kind of action can they take? Sue them for a paltry amount compared to what maxis is worth? We all know how Malaysia has become over the years. The govt is at the mercy of these tycoons. And it is coming from the guy who have strong govt connections, owns the country's monopoly of satellites (how can that happen?), lucrative IPP business and gaming licences. Heck maxis is privatised now already, so they dont really care how sentiment affect the company or have any share price to worry about. Well AK probably doesnt even know that its maxis BB service is so crap. If he does, the guy who is heading the wireless broadband operations better buck up or pack his bags real soon

And seriously maxis, if you are reading this, there is no excuse to have such mediocre service in this era when comparative services are better and at the same price. If you cant handle the capacity because of increase of users, either you spend more on capital equipment or give a discount for the lack of quality service. Cost too high for HSPDA service? Then fine, price wireless services at a premium to those who can afford to use it but maintain and uphold your quality. Don't charge at the same price while bullshitting about 'unlimited connectivity' and giving lousy service that irritates people. Are you aware of the opportunity cost and time wasted coz of slow Internet connections?

Give them an ultimatum to improve. U need to have mass exodus of people terminating their connection for them and the REAL head to notice. Penalty? heck..worst u will get blacklisted ..just dun use maxis services anymore.
