I highly doubt there would be space for extra songs on the cart anyway.
It's already jam packed as it is. |

I also have the problem with the touchscreen when strumming fast notes. I've tried using other methods, my finger and the stylus. I think using the stylus to strums is slightly better but who the heck plays a guitar like that? hehehe

If you're a guitar hero fan? Definitely.
If you're curious about guitar hero games? Maybe. If you're not a fan of music games but thinking this game might change your perception? Definitely NOT. It retails for either RM190 (or RM200 if you're not a member) at Gamer's Hideout in Cineleisure. |

Is the Guitar Hero 4 really coming out on the DS? On Gamespot, they say it is but on IGN , it says otherwise.

QUOTE(Rogeroty @ Jul 8 2008, 05:19 PM) Is the Guitar Hero World Tour really coming out on the DS? On Gamespot, they say it is but on IGN , it says otherwise. I don't think its really confirmed yet considering that all the instruments would be needed.Except they decided that this would be the stripped down version. Drums could still be played on the touch screen, microphone can be used with the headset. Just the guitar grip. |

Except they decided that this would be the stripped down version. Drums could still be played on the touch screen, microphone can be used with the headset. Just the guitar grip. it sounds like usa version of daigasso band brothers. |

I have the game. You'll have to get used to the addon, people with large hands, will find it crampy and hard to use. My American buddies are complaining about it. Funny how the game is made by them, yet the Asians are reaping the rewards. Thanks to my rather comely hands
Dont play in public though. |

Can't really review the game since I didn't buy it, but I will say this.
The song count is adequate considering the Gh is on the go. Since the Ds is good on emphasizing short timing of games (though the levels might be hundereds), it feels perfect to play on trains, busses, on transportation or while waiting for someone in the busy mall. Suits the game. But i remember that the guys at activision said the game can also be held only with the thumb in the grip. Anyone tried it? |

You could do that, but there are no guarantees when you're rocking out on your DS that it wouldnt slip off and smashed to smithereens.
It's the "palmable factor" that bothers a lot of people when it comes to holding in place. Otherwise it is worthy of carrying the Guitar Hero name. |

I have the problem of the Guitar Grip slipping out quite often - anyone else suffer from that?

I found that playing it by supporting the DS on my thigh works pretty well. Keeps things stable esp for the strum-heavy songs.

Omigod, I didn't know there's a Guitar Hero for DS. I almost wanted to buy a Playstation just to be able to play this game. Are the DS version damn good and worth to buy?

Guitar Hero on the DS is only about 40% representation of the Guitar Hero experience on the consoles.
It's great to play on the go when you just need a Guitar Hero fix (Like on my 22 Hour flight to Chicago....... god bless Nintendo!), but will it replace Guitar Hero on the consoles...... definitely not. |
