QUOTE(SEP910 @ Apr 23 2008, 08:38 PM) You also facing same problem, can I know what sim and bypass sim you using now. TQ allow me to write down some of the major P905i cons that we heard from our friends here:Now got 3 person facing auto shutdown la... 1. auto shut down 2. blind spot, lost network, need to do CPR 3. short battery life (understandable, due to its slim design, giant screen) 4. in 3G Network mode, u can only make calls & SMS, not receiving them 5. can't use AAC/MP3/MP4 ringtones 6. can't use HSDPA, MMS, GPRS, GPS, 1-Seg TV (applies to all DCM/Softbank models) |

8431, i can't join you guys for the P905i as it is over my budget.
do you think it is a wise idea for me to get the 911T? (i love the overall design & features, price wise, affordable, i am thinking of using it as my secondary line) |

QUOTE(sE_vIxEn @ Apr 24 2008, 01:30 PM) adui, headache, seems like the only 'stable' choice is the 904SH. but what is the point of upgrading? is it steadier than the 903SH in terms of firmware? pretty sick of restarts and auto shut downs liao. some more it's having old people sickness, creaky and well worn by the vixen. muahahaha. vixen, if that is the case, P905i might not be suitable for you. (read the phone limitation that i updated on the first page)unless, you can live with that, then by all means, get da P905i |

QUOTE(8431 @ Apr 24 2008, 01:42 PM) 1. suit ur budget = ok lo appreciate your 2cent 2. can live with the lack of 3g area coverage = ok lo since its ur 2ndary line(no line ma become showoff phone lo) coz in my case or my usage pattern for the p905i+hypersim, i encounter blind spot for gsm which can be recoverable via doin cpr and then it will regain back signal on the spot, but quite troublesome abit.. but 911t no cpr if no 3g, and i can't be sure if the bypass sim can auto reconnect back to avaiable signal tower without doing cpr or not on the 911t (which is the case for p905i+hypersim which nid a cpr 2 regain back signal) cheers. just my 2cents. regarding the bolded statement, our friend badegg79 claimed that the signal will auto-reconnect. my 903sh shows 3G signal everywhere i go (from Kl back to PJ) it only shows 2G when i am at home QUOTE(sE_vIxEn @ Apr 24 2008, 01:45 PM) i don't think it's ok for a secondary line. if you have to resort to the usage of a second line, means you're in dire need of using a phone liao. when you got emergency and your phone's dead or useless, that'd be one hell of a frustration. CPR = when your P905i lost signal, take the sim card out and put it in another phone (eg. a nokia 8310), then make a call. take the sim card out from your nokia 8310, put back to your P905i. btw what's the CPR thing, can explain? thanks. the signal will regain. that is what the term CPR means.
