QUOTE(Josephph @ Apr 21 2008, 11:16 AM) still cant figure out how to set aac ringtone on 905i models Josephph, acc format doesn't work on P905i. Reason: You have to upload your ACC format to the internet, and use your P905i download it either via i-mode (email) or GPRS. Since we have limitation on using GPRS, (i-mode only available for JP), therefore we cannot download it from the internet. You may read more from here: http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showpost...096&postcount=5Quoted from hardwarezone QUOTE Limitations of P905i (for SG users) - can't use HSDPA, GPRS, GPS, 1-Seg TV - Singtel users may experience very unstable connection - in 3G Network mode, u can only make calls & SMS, not receiving them - can't use AAC/MP3/MP4 ringtones (refer to multimedia guide)

QUOTE(etcyik @ Apr 21 2008, 12:01 PM) panasonic, would u like to try 911t? it is irresistible to me edi... haha i can still control myself go for it la, but like vodafone & bearbrick says, just make sure you don't use it as your primary phone, as you wouldn't know when the 3G network is going to lost.

guys, i have a question on P905i as per quoted from hardwarezone, below are the limitation of P905i: Limitations of P905i (for SG users)- can't use HSDPA, GPRS, GPS, 1-Seg TV - Singtel users may experience very unstable connection - in 3G Network mode, u can only make calls & SMS, not receiving them- can't use AAC/MP3/MP4 ringtones (refer to multimedia guide) for point no 3, what does it mean? in 3G network mode, i can't receive calls huh?

QUOTE(vodafone @ Apr 21 2008, 04:47 PM) Yes, can't receive video/voice calls. Only make voice/video calls, SMSing.Try to avoid using DoCoMo phones as your primary phone because of the reception stability. Use it as secondary phone will be good though. ahhhh now only i am aware of this cons! ghosh, i started to treasure my 903sh now! the only complain is, the 903sh screen is not as biggie as the new DCM models, other than that, it is one step above them in terms of stability and functionality

badegg79, just wondering, assuming the 911T couldn't detect a 3G network (out of 3G coverage), what would the screen show?
and will it "auto-connect" back when it is back to 3G coverage area?
need to do any CPR like other DCM phones ka?

QUOTE(Vervain @ Apr 21 2008, 10:40 PM) @panasonic88 Nurse me!!!!! (boy am I getting annoying) 911t will reconnect back when 3g signal is once again available. I think from one point of view, benny sim will not work well on roaming. Its just a hunch based on vodafone's research this is the 2nd time i see that. /where is my needle okay jokes aside, regarding roaming issue, it is confirmed by forumer that 911T will not work on roaming. not sure about other DCM model. guys, i am seriously considering selling my iPod Touch & get a 911T.

QUOTE(badegg79 @ Apr 21 2008, 10:55 PM) halo sis. If 911T can't detect signal on the top left corner it will show "OUT" ( 圈外 ) After signal o"OUT" ,It will auto reconnect back once it detect signal for both software unlock and lock set so dun worry. No need to do CPR like other docomo phone somemore 911T lock set also not dat choosie in hypercard & sim. Most hypersim that support softbank model can unlock it and run flawlessly. ahhh you are injecting the poison into my body! ohyah, i read that 911T has poor battery lifetime...the 3" huge screen simply suck away all the juices! it is like you have to charge it every day....how's yours?

QUOTE(Vervain @ Apr 21 2008, 10:59 PM) yeah, if you want one bypass sim, I can sell you one. cheap price. got it for rm150 but willing to sell it off below rm100 if you're interested. It all depends how soon the needle can come to me (j/k) Personally If you only use it for surfing and not for music, I think its better off your hands. But if you do fully use all the features, keep it. No point selling it off as depreciation is there. Added on April 21, 2008, 11:00 pmoh yeah on the battery life, for p905i sucks too. daily charging if you use often. Not a problem if you carry the travel charger along or the usb cable. And the best feature I found was the weekly alarm. Now i can have my alarm on all the time and ring during weekdays. yeah~ ermm thanks for the offering on the bypass sim, i will lurk around for a few seller first. em seriously, i have tons of albums in my iPod Touch, but i just barely listen to them, aiks~!
