Recently Xbox360s has already doubled their sales in Japan.
And i am just wondering how much ToV exclusivity to Xbox360 will really affect the sales.

Xbox 360 Software – Tales of Vesperia debuted for the Xbox 360 this week. The preliminary data puts the game at 113,000 units week one. Considering Blue Dragon is still the only Xbox 360 game to top 103,000 units in Japan, Microsoft and Namco have to be quite happy with how the game has done so far. From the Tales push, expect Xbox 360 hardware sales to hit 12,000 to 20,000 units this week.

The Japan Preview: 360 tops PS3

Tales of Vesperia pushed Xbox 360 sales past PS3 sales in Japan this week. The game itself sold over 110,000 units.

A possible upturn in the Xbox360 sales in Japan?! Finally?!
Really unusual seeing how even the PS2 are sold more than the 360s and now we are talking about the PS3.
Well, at least it is about time that the Xbox360 finally get a proper reception among the Japanese folks.
Oh ya, it is all thanks to Tales of Vesperia biggrin.gif laugh.gif

The "Largest" Xbox 360 Akihabara Store Sell Out

user posted image

Remember when Japanese people lined up for Xbox 360 RPG Tales of Vesperia? That was pretty kooky! Kookier even still is that the console is sold out at gianormous retailers like Yodobashi Camera in Tokyo's Akihabara. Above is a picture of the retailer from spring. According to CheapAssGamer's CheapyD, who spotted this sell out:

QUOTE
Yodobashi Camera in Akihabara is not just a big electronics store in Tokyo, it is one of the (if not the largest) electronics stores in the world. I was there earlier this week and was pretty suprised to see that they had sold out of all versions of the Xbox 360 consoles. Looks like the Japanese have got Tales of Vesperia fever, which was recently released over here.

Might be that or just an Akihabara thing — or it could be that stores are making space for the 60GB SKU. Read more of our previous and thrilling Xbox 360 Japan shortage coverage here. Hit the jump for Cheapy's photographic evidence!

Why Japanese version?!
If i am not wrong, there is not English support or any option to switch it to English for the Japanese version.
