u use that 770 chipset mobo rite? keep it at the highest..no problem..below 1000 usually for nvidia 570 chipset and below..if 590sli can do around 1500, cant over that value, and if its ta690g u can do at 1600 no prob, and if 770, go for the highest..

sure, higher is better, for sure ati chipset is cooler and more OC friendly

the higher ht, does it increase performance much?

i didn't see any diff during benchmark between higher HTT and lower HTT.
tested superPI 1M with 1200HT and 900HT. both got same result.
or is it not affected much in superPI?? better result in 3d/pcmark maybe??

i think maybe there will have some differences in pcmark or 3dmark..but the mark usually differ from time to time, as we all know, things wont work the same, and ur pc wont perform in the same manners in every benchmarking progress..

but in gaming gaming i think there will be some differents..just have a try first..

TA770 mobo original come with A78XAB06.BST bios , and tis bios got problem
u can Flash the bios to the latest A78XA328.BST or A78XA125.BST

and bout the HT link ..u can use X5 (1000mhz) ..coz tis mobo can handle more then 1500mhz

Bro u wanna grab that quad BE arrr...wanna pair with what mobo...

new mobo.. intended for phenom can easily hit HT >1500...
so not like oldies mobo which mostly limits @ 1000htt..
some mobo suffered when using 3x htt mul coz got problem with bios..
bad bios also can caused ur cpu mul can't be setted at certain multis..
and ofcourse some ram settings..

with that so many variables.. u need to test it on ur own.. with different setup to get optimum result...
