Use lowest multiplier.. Then slowly increase FSB using windows overclock tool.. That is to find highest FSB..

PSU also affect FSB.. If use low wattage PSU.. Can't get high FSB..

Previously i use AMD .. 300w true power only get 360HTT.. 400w true power get 390HTT.. 30HTT different already can get 300Mhz..
*
Depends also.....my system is weird. Can hit FSB400+ with 9X multi but if i use lower multi, it wont boot anywhere higher than FSB395 rclxub.gif

That is normal lar bro .. Each multiplier can't do the same FSB but not much different la.. Maybe 5~10 FSB only..  smile.gif
*
not reli........now i cant even go above FSB375 with 8x multi but 9x multi can go to FSB425 rclxub.gif

Depends on your cooling, Im using a tuniq tower. And I had it at that voltage only for arnd 5 mins b4 shutting down and downclocking. Also....nvr dared stress the core at 100% sweat.gif Hmm.....maybe I should start saving up for a decent watercooling kit. Or any1 interested in selling theirs?

oic.. if 1.6v enuf for 3.6ghz, we nid to pump more so that it will be more stable?
*
Just add wats enough for stability, test from lower voltage to higher....if can be stable at lower, the better. U tink i pump 1.7v for fun ar?? sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

QUOTE(Silverfire @ Mar 30 2008, 10:28 PM)
Around 1.41v... Last time need less, now need more... Processor dieing sweat.gif

Added on for the line.
1.3856v in BIOS selection, BIOS reads 1.376v and CPU-Z reads 1.376~1.392v to get stable 333x9 3Ghz rclxm9.gif
*
Thats still ok wt. Btw....proc dieing....hmm scary......sweat.gif How old is ur proc n how much hv u torture it? whistling.gif I want mine to last til end of the year at least.

A food for thought from a world class ocer i know. smile.gif Everyone here who has a E2 series proc, please run a SP32M and see who has the best times. And i know, that SP32M can be buggy, so please do 2 runs at least and get the most consistent result of all. And post it up at the designated thread. This would be good to classify who is the best tweaker of their procs and ram smile.gif
*
Im out for now til get better ram and watercooling sweat.gif

if you look back, check on bryans post on NB dividers.. so u might have to give some Vmch pump and a higher Vcore.
ur default Mult - 9
now if you wanna pump at 6* then u would have to consider 9/6 = 1.5 and multiply this to your FSB, 400*1.5 = 600Mhz, this explains why if u put 400*6 manually, u cant, coz u will need Vcore sufficient to pump for 600Mhz, which is impossible.
For 8* multiplier, the ratio would be 9/8 = 1.125, so if u want to run 400*8 on your proc (e2160 with 9*) u would need Vcore that can run 400*1.125 = 450Mhz.. which probably needs about 1.5V and a Vmch of 1.33V smile.gif

Try 1.5V on Vcore and 1.33V on NB for 400*8 smile.gif

Added on March 31, 2008, 1:31 amoh yeah since ur on GGbyte, put your NB as default smile.gif What i said is just a theoretical idea i gathered from what Bryan said.
*
Hmm......so does that mean that when i run FSB400x8 the actual FSB is 450? Hmm....but that still doesnt explain why this problem only happens near FSB400 in all multipliers lower than 9. And I tried the vcore n vnorthbrige thing but no solution there.

QUOTE(tech_frix @ Mar 31 2008, 09:29 AM)
FSB bro FSB...
always go with high FSB...
*
Am already running FSB400x9=3600mhz and ram at 960mhz. Still get arnd 19mins sweat.gif But i guess the problem is ram stability, coz my max stable is only arnd 920mhz. After that can still go but cant pass memtest ady.

He already got 16sec+ ...
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=Atta...=post&id=429808

I guess RAM is the big issue to get good result in SuperPI..
