QUOTE(joe_star @ Mar 31 2008, 07:03 PM) Hmm......so does that mean that when i run FSB400x8 the actual FSB is 450? Hmm....but that still doesnt explain why this problem only happens near FSB400 in all multipliers lower than 9. And I tried the vcore n vnorthbrige thing but no solution there. Bro, I forgot to tell you that when ya not using performance RAM ( Just realized you use TeamValue ) .. Hard to hit high FSB..Am already running FSB400x9=3600mhz and ram at 960mhz. Still get arnd 19mins Agreed Example now you run 355x9 = 3.2Ghz can run 1000Mhz on RAM.. Doesn't means you can run it on 400x8 = 3.2Ghz.. May not be accurate but that's from my experience.. Try and you will know.. Added on March 31, 2008, 9:03 pm QUOTE(Silverfire @ Mar 31 2008, 09:02 PM) Yeah.. I don't care about lifespan, dude.. Won't use more than a year..Now considering E6300.. Cause won't cost much to upgrade.. What about u? Stay with E2160? This post has been edited by Amedion: Mar 31 2008, 09:08 PM |

QUOTE(a1098113 @ Mar 31 2008, 11:01 PM) my team value rams can hit 1080Mhz.. i think thats speaks lots... Depends on luck actually.. My Team Elite not stable at 1080Mhz also.. e6300 is outdated and most used for OC. Boring ler. Some can do 1200Mhz or 1000Mhz CL4 .. Jealous.. QUOTE(joe_star @ Apr 1 2008, 12:37 AM) Hmm......thats smth to consider No need performance RAM .. Just run lower clock lar.. If about your luck.....then aye....it speaks lots indeed QUOTE(tech_frix @ Apr 1 2008, 06:58 AM) Wait till u try Biostar RMA... Saw 2 guys claimed it.. From AMD thread.. Really headache with my motherboard ..
I set 1.525v BIOS @ 3.4Ghz stable 6 hours .. Load vcore is 1.472v ... Now I wanna try 3440MHz @ 1.531v BIOS ... Load vcore become 1.452v ... Anyone know a safe way to vdroop mod it without warranty void ? P35 DS3 .. This post has been edited by Amedion: Apr 1 2008, 02:45 PM |

I tried 1.78v on my E2160 also can't get 3.6Ghz ... System will hang ...
Guess the limit of my E2160 is somewhere around 3.5Ghz max or I need better cooling? Don't dare to stress cause run SuperPI already reach 85c.. This post has been edited by Amedion: Apr 9 2008, 04:53 PM |

No lar.. Actually I also don't want to push till 1.78v .. But you know Gigabyte motherboard.. There vcore is something like 1.5xx, 1.5xx, 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 ..
There's no 1.6xx .. So, when i set 1.6v in EasyTunePro .. It will bump straight to 1.78v which is 1.8v in BIOS reading.. Might as well test it.. And I know the term lar .. without proper cooling.. Can't get higher clock speed.. Just like a car, overheat already where can run.. The max I get is 3510MHz .. Don't want spend on WC .. Not worth cause can get E-6xxx & OC which is faster than my processor at 3.6Ghz.. Oh to FuiLo, Corsair is the worst RAM i ever use b4.. New batch Team Ram all are craps.. Not so lucky already.. Better find those people who stable it at 1000mhz in garage sale.. This post has been edited by Amedion: Apr 10 2008, 09:59 AM |

Yes indeed.. You want? Now running 850Mhz 4-4-4-12 only .. I just wonder why Shawty sell those is with timing 5-5-5-18...@ a1098113, you have idea on that since you're TEAM's pro .. |

QUOTE(a1098113 @ Apr 10 2008, 11:09 AM) i am not too sure whether shawts is doing the team bulk at the moment.. i do know that moderno is doing it and the prices now are the best bargain.. and since ur interested in team ram, you should go for the 2*1Gb Team Xtreem 800Mhz cl4 which is rm270 i think... This rams have Micron d9gmh.. which is godlike... as we all know. 2*1Gb solely for OC la. Anyways for team value and team elite... try going for rams which are double sided and have brainpower pcbs... how to know.. just find for a BP on the pcb.. if u do find it.. then its good coz it means that it doesnt suck up too much Vdimm for high speeds.. (from my amateur experience la) I guess my RAM serve me quite well for now.. I will get Xtreem when it's time.. QUOTE(FuiLo @ Apr 10 2008, 12:48 PM) Sorry sifus here off topic a bit..i felt that one of my ram broken already..the problem here is i have two corsair value ram here but bought at different shop at different date..the problem came when i was running on both ram it can boot normally but juz can't get into the window after the loading screen it keep restarting but if i m running by one stick i can boot in to window..i didn't overclock my system all the things are running on default speed and voltage..the problem was same when i plug my ram to my fren's computer it keep restarting after the loading screen..so weird System corrupted due to overclocking value ram? both window XP and vista got no problem..so could it be one of my ram is broken?but i can boot like normal juz can't get into the window after the loading screen:x..argh...crappy corsair That is what I don't like about Corsair .. Cannot recall, long time no use corsair already.. Windows preventing ur PC from damage.. That's y keep restarting.. You reset BIOS also useless.. What i did is to set back the setting that i used before system unstable.. No need format PC.. Try system restore first.. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ My mountain climbing temperature.. So far so good .. Everest is the best for me..I must open it when overclocking.. It shows clock speed, utilization, temperature, voltage, free memory, fan speed, memory benchmark, my PC hardware/software/windows information and a lot more..
@calvinkli, how's ur overclock? Reach 3.0Ghz? |
