last i checked, they haven't done the auto-sms notification for balance/validity period.

but they said it'll be rolled out soon.

actually for all plans, u can check usage via *118# menu. But u would have to plug the sim on the phone to access *118# (this method is called UMB=USSD Menu Browser)
*
or you can use http://www.nerve.org.za/mdma/ thumbup.gif

i don't get it o.O doesn't mobile connect has statistics too?
what's the difference between that one and mobile connect?
and how come im getting 95-99% signal on mobile connect and under that software, the signal area the bar is about 50-60%?
not sure of the difference, could you explain? or is there anywhere i can refer to?
*
My personal opinion, as I did not write this software. If you using E220, there actually statistics built in right to the modem.

This one just can send UMB *118# drool.gif drool.gif drool.gif

----

Off topic, I finally able to create a normal dialer, and auto-redial. Thanks for the trick.

DiGi 3G only 384kbps the max, good thing is no quota cap  biggrin.gif
*
Depends on plan, Digi speed is likely 700kbps which they assign 1mbps profile, they do have cap, the RM48 will be reduce to 384kbps upon reached 3GB.

Still enjoying U Broadband with avg. 2mbps and above thumbup.gif

Umobile has caped my line since early December. I subd U68 package.
My previous average dl speed was around 150kb/s to 200kb/s.
Now, regardless of the time or the weather, maximum dl speed is only 50kb/s, (hardly 50kb/s). Normally 40+kb/s.

Area Melawati.

same here, but I think I have exceed 5GB blush.gif

Added on December 26, 2009, 5:25 pmcomfirm u mobile start to capped our speed, cause i change my gf sim card to test at the same location, speed back to normal!

Too bad,I'm the first batch of surf with u customer....think to switch...
*
Hmm, where would you like to switch to? I would like to know the option. I just received Digi bill, from December 2009 onwards, after exceed usages, it will cap at 128kpbs, not sure whether it will be implemented or not, but Digi is only limited to 1mbps for its RM58 3GB plan.

QUOTE(Chimeera @ Dec 26 2009, 05:42 PM)
..am also having the same dilemma since early December. So i asked my cousin who happened to be one of umobile's staff to personally check my account/line. And there's absolutely NO record of anything. Nothing unusual.

Location congestion issue? I doubt it. Performance wouldnt dropp drastically and affects dozen of areas' at once.

hmm im gonna go on a limb and say that it has something to do with umobile new packages. ya know, the new 10 and 20 ringgit subscriptions. 1.0mbp etc.

They launched that new packages on 1st December. Right around the same time when my performance went downhill.
*
Performance downhill? Before capping aside from the disconnection, I getting 2mbps

QUOTE(zwanvedder @ Dec 26 2009, 07:23 PM)
me too...today oredi got capped at 50-40KBps since this mornin...still satisfied coz oredi d/load more than 50GB...
for web surfin - fast as ever even at capped speed
nothin to complain about...
just wait for U to uncapp me...
btw im at klang area and on UB68 plan..
*
Let see will they uncapped us on the new year onwards

May I know where is it? Thanks

QUOTE(Chimeera @ Jan 5 2010, 10:19 PM)
Fail to see any connection, relevant to umobile's action within your last sentence.
All subscriber suffered the same problem last December. Even new subscriber such as Ricky300 felt the heat.

Not really sure what you were implying, but i assumed you were trying to relate
Celcom's Fair Usage Policy and Umobile recent capping action.
*
I believed Ricky300 is on UB10, that's why the speed is 384 max out

UB68 RM68 monthly included 5% gov. tax.
UB68 does not have RM5 bill charges
3. Unsure. Try http://www.u.com.my/
4. UB68 does not have usage monitor as far as I know, a month ago, try *118# you can check usage from there.

What I understand is that ping is important on those required "real-time" such as VOIP, Online game interaction with other players. More important is the routing of to the providers of this.

Hi - I am newbie here.
Is it true that U mobile wireless broadband does not impose any throttle, even though it says so & you have reached your limit?

I saw messages here saying that raimy_m9 has downloaded more than 40Gb, MakNok has downloaded more than 68Gb, but still no throttling impose...
anyone U-Mobile broadband user from Ipoh?
Near to the houses behind the The Store in Jalan Kampar?
if so, care to share with us how the signal quality is and what average speed of its UB40 or UB68 package?...many thanks...
