you should have change to coilover  rclxm9.gif

i'm on 15" lightweight japan rim with coilover and rear-arb and hard cornering is  biggrin.gif

Downgrade from 17" to 15" because of several factors :

1. the weight of the rim and durability
2. Reduce FC  icon_rolleyes.gif  but is the same if the right foot cannot be controlled.

I notice many ppl downgrade from 18" 17" or 16" to 15"...
so i think 15" is most suit to me juz not so good look than 16" 17" 18" rim

When you change to bigger rims, the sidewall thickness needs to be reduced to fit in the wheel arch.
The thinner the rubber, the less comfy it gets wink.gif

i realised i had to choose between speed and looks.

i drive a satria 1.3 cabby.

with 15", i can go <175km/h

with 17", only +/- 140km/h

in the end, ive decided to go with 17" and drive slow slow.

fast2 drive want to go wher? u'll have to stop anyway. keke.

and oh ya, petrol got inc a bit. keke

An upgrade to a tyre with a lower profile size than the original will generally improve the vehicle's steering response, handling characteristics and appearance.

i reli think that people shouldnt upsize their current rim to much bigger size... if for looks, they can just change to nice rims with same dimension.. the bigger the rim is, the lesser power your car and the worst your F/C. not worth it at all

ok..i got 1 Q. when we go for smaller rims..we are looking for performance & when we go for bigger rims we are looking for appearance.
Let's talk about performance..we know that smaller means more pickup..& bigger means more 'lajak'..so the benefits for both pickup & lajak please.. icon_idea.gif

If i go for bigger size but it weight less than my ori rims, better performance no? smile.gif

Does bigger rims always means you have to sacrifice the performance part?
