Ehh ...... really, ar? I was at Desa last week, happened to be in KL for a couple of days, I did ask a guy named Ah Kun, he said RM3,800 best price. Hahaha. Dunno why you got a better price, next time must ajak you go along if I wanna buy something, maybe he sensed that I'm not from KL.

I bought a Audioquest hdmi cable for my brother as it was cheaper than the price in Penang but the Yamaha leh, my friend quoted me RM3,750 lah, maybe b'coz of transportation fees lah since in Penang mar.

The RX-V3800 sounds sebiji like RX-V1800 except for some extra features and more oompph in the power rating, the Burr Brown chip is the same but if you want better sound, get the Denon's 2808 model, it is using a newer Burr Brown chip but the most latest Burr Brown chip is used in Onkyo's 875 series but that one is a lot more expensive than the competition which I think one day Bro RX will buy.


I sapu the hd-dvd version from my friend, he sold it to me at RM40. Hahaha. Hard to find ppl in Penang to buy hd-dvd mah ...... so I got the bargaining power.

Very good PQ and AQ, just hope to see K-19 on BD one day. Most importantly, titles such as Gladiator, Saving Private Ryan, Star Wars, Jaws, ET, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, etc will definitely boost the sales for BD if such titles are released during the holiday season.

Denon 2808 is around RM4,700 like dat. Not cheap but built quality is definitely a notch better than Yammy just that Yammy easier to setup and calibrate.

Me too, spent too much on BDs liao, must wait till next month to recharge my moolah ......... the force is still very strong in me.

Next month we sama-same order from Play-Asia yeah.

If use airmail no need to tumpang2... There's no per shipment charge, only per items. You order 1 title same cost as order 10 titles.

The reason I use priority because I want it fast.

I got the Yammy RX-V1800 for RM3.6k. You guys should push to get that price too.
