there are many boutique/backpackers hotels in georgetown.
there also have dormitry if you many friends joining along.
I always recommend my friends to stay in good hope hotel in gurney.
All of them are satisfied.

But i suggest you stay in boutique hotels in georgetown. walking distance to mural paintings and foods. If you are street photographer, you will like it like me.

Thats my opinions.
The choice is yours.

Apart from good food and beautiful mural paintings.
You may wanna visit the Kek Lok Si temple and Penang Hill. Both ouside georgetown.
Do drop by Chew Jetty if you have time.

is it better to rent a car or just use taxi?

cititel?...1926 heritage hotel?...good hope inn?

did u try glow hotel.. tht hotel kinda nice and new.. there are many coffee shop around tht area.. quite nice too.. from day till midnight..

big bowl noodle got 2 place.. 1 in bayan baru.. another 1 in sg. pinang.. not mistaken.. but if take bus, i guess u need walk a bit..
