that kopitiam only have his stall and a wantan mee stall.. so if u wanna try ALOT of food.. not recommend la

Google "Penang Hostels" ..... Many good Hostels with rooms are available in Georgetown itself.

SO getting and exploring George Town is Easy. Plus lots of Hawkers areas within walking distance. Near Komtar.

Check out Hostel World for recommendation.

Suggest to take Bus to Butterworth.Bus - Trans National ( But on Fri,Sat & Sun ) Do check.Other buses are okay too. Not all are good.

Then just walk to the Ferry terminal (5mins) and cross to Penang Island by Ferry - Rm1.20 ??

Once you are in Penang. Walk out to main road ( Jalan Pantai). 10 mins to Hostels/Hotels in Georgetown.

any recommendation for homestay/hostel for 7-10 persons. planning to go in 2-3 weeks time. will be driving so transport shouldnt be a problem.

I plan to have trip 1-3 January 2015 (Thursday - Saturday)
I expected a traffic jam in Georgetown Penang.
But how bad traffic will be? how long for normally 5 minutes route?

want to ask...go penang..how many days is enough?
