wahh bro Chun, me no marnee to pay advertisement fee ler...
bo iplay, that tapah is meant for food or rearing? Added on March 20, 2008, 9:14 pmvery good trip with unker today 1x 2-3kg 1x 5kg 1x 5.5kg 1x 10kg All toman caught using lure except the 2-3kg specimen. The largest specimen gave me a great fight, keep stripping my 20lb PP as far as 50m easily, my rod was never given any chance to straighten alittle. The spectacular jump is still playing in my mind as of now... We accidentally took the photo(using hp camera) in MMS mode, thus the photo is small.. Photos of the recce will be posted tomorrow. Bro Fookie,
Since you know it's weedy at the longkang, using any diver lure or any lure without weedless concept will definitely caught some weeds.... If the weeds are submerge type, use popper or doggie lure If the weeds are visible type, try to use some weedless lure or soft plastic |

Morning Bro Fookie,
You can do 2 types of fishing there 1. popping 2. shallow lure Try to cast to the area of water breaker... Bro Iplay Quite a rod breaking action...me using BC, the rod bend till the braided line slapping onto the rod blank... The toman stripped the line for at least 10seconds and my BC were nearly locked dead... ![]() Antee with the 10kg catch ![]() Unker with the momma ![]() Me with the momma ![]() If i'm not mistaken it's the 5kg catch ![]() This should be the 5.5kg catch. HI TMY Kia,
I use general logics for fishing.. 1. What is the type of species? 2. How much do you know about the species? 3. What are the character of the species? 4. What are the feeding habits? Example: 1. What is the type of species? Toman 2. How much do you know about the species? so-so 3. What are the character of the species? predatorial, hunts for food, territorial 4. What are the feeding habits? Any moving objects There you go...by answering these 4 simple questions, you would know what lure to use. As for toman, any moving objects will do. Bro SA, Yes the 10kg toman was tapau-ed. Unker wants for food. The fries are as big as couple of inches, and able to take care of themselves Added on March 21, 2008, 12:08 pmBTW TMY Kia, Where do you fish for toman and PB? Besides AK of course. Where are you from? This post has been edited by rorytate: Mar 21 2008, 12:08 PM |

Hi Bro Fookie,
unker wanted the fish for food. Bro TMY Kia, AK is air kuning in ipoh area. Loads of toman and Pb. If you fish at tasik subang, you will get a very slim chance to have hook up. That place is over fished! Try to fish at some naturale lakes or ponds Bro vw, Just bring to me and i'll do the rest. Each carbonmatrix drag is about rm 5-7... for ch100a you need 3 or 4 pieces if my memory serves me right |

Latest designed custom rod.
Spiral wrap concept ![]() BC spiral wrap, custom fuji reel seat(it's normal reel seat with lock nut but customed to a different look and feel), and curved angle at the butt. ![]() Spiral wrap concept with Fuji Hardloy guides ![]() Guide wrap design ![]() Custom reel seat Comments appreciated. Will show why i said the reel seat is customed: This is standard BC reel seat that is available in M'sia - other type tarak. Notice that reel is tightened using lock nut See this link http://www.mudhole.com/core/media/media.nl...1a06eb12e9d4ab3 I was trying to find the type where tightening is on the foregrip eva. Look more Japanese mah....but kenot find. What to do custom lor This post has been edited by rorytate: Mar 21 2008, 04:17 PM |

hi bro Fookie,
not pro ler. We are just regular caster that prefer BC over spinning ler. I use both type of reels. Most of the time me using BC for fresh water. For jigging and popping, I used both. Some jigs are easier to work on using spinning and some easier using multiplier. Example: if speed jigging I would prefer using spinning. Will use multiplier for speed jigging if my arm is tired if long stroke, I prefer multiplier over spinning popping wise I prefer spinning. Casting large popper(120grams and above) using multiplier is harder to control the backlash. With heavy popper and backlash, I might lost my thumb...heheh I still love my thumb |
