what u see is the left side of menus, not the tab ones. select your iPhone on the left, and click the Photo tab at the iPhone page. u have to select the photo's folder.

haha...unlimited data plan is cheap what.

just don't restore it with firmware 1.1.1 and earlier. i think someone has addressed this before.
it will downgrade the bootloader to BL3.8 (not typo error eh)
so that means u can only restore your firmware to the version that only available OTB with BL4.6, which are 1.1.2 and newer firmwares.

yup, easier to download it rather than doing transfer of files. yup u can download the apps via cellular networks (GPRS/EDGE) or WiFi networks. and if u download it via EDGE make sure u have subscribed first to the data plan,

mmm, there's also other way in performing installation. for this task u'll need WinSCP or other similar apps. just FTP to the iPhone from your computer and transfer the file, set the permission, and install it. but for installation it will be easier if just use any package manager available, and then after installed u can transfer the file (like dictionary files, speech files, etc etc) to the iPhone. for average users, Installer and Cydia is sufficient.

btw, u can add repositories inside the Installer. by doing this, u can can also gain another app source.

yup, just open any folder, Tools > Folder Options > View > Uncheck "Hide Extension".
and then u can view the extension, and modify it from m4a to m4r

mmm... iPhone Ringtone Maker is hassle free, no need to connect to the internet like audiko or some internet-dependent freewares. it also acts as ringtone manager.

opps, btw the crack is illegal though (haha...even we aren't supposed to unlock our iPhones. btw if it is worth it, why not pay for it rite?)

btw editing the ringtones in sound editing program and then converting them in iTunes is not that hard though. and if already got previous collections of ringtones, it is easy to just convert them in iTunes. actually there's no need to use 3rd party apps (or service) though.

btw, apps like iPhone Ringtone Maker will simplify the whole process to make it easier for everyone.

there are much possibilities. maybe the resolution is too big so the iPhone can't support it. i dunno what's the maximum resolution can be proceeded for the iPhone, but i recalled on my iPod before that some videos with very large resolution will not being synced.

or maybe the format is not compatible. it shows MP4 as extension, but the video file isn't encoded on standard MPEG-4 or H264 at all. or maybe the video stream is properly encoded, but the audio codec is not the right one.

or the file isn't MP4 at all. some files are encoded on non-standard MP4 format using encoder software that comes with generic MP4 portable media player, which doesn't support real MPEG4 / H264 at all. these MP4 PMP's aren't necessarily supports MPEG-4 files, as the manufacturers love to play with the MP naming, even they also come up with MP5 and MP7!

btw to check whether the file is playable on iPhone or not, use some video diagnostic software such as GSpot. make sure the video codec is either MPEG-4 or H264, and the audio stream is AAC. and check the resolution also.

mmm...maybe there still other reasons, but i don't know much. i just encode my xvid files into H264 using videora so then i can be sure that my videos are compatible with my iPhone.

mmm...maybe because both speaker and mic are at the bottom?

actually it's an E for EDGE and just a blue box for GPRS. btw there's an addon that can be installed to change the blue box to G when in GPRS mode.

it'll not be that necessary for v7 now. a sub forum will be great! just my 2¢.
btw in the meantime, better include the infos into Post #1.
just use Make It Mine. u can find it under your Installer.

haha...better use DiGi la. even the prepaid one got Pay As You Go (PAYU) price capped to RM149 monthly. so if u don't register for the dataplan and u just use as it is, the maximum u need to pay for GPRS/EDGE is just RM149 no matter how much u use it.
RM600 is almost one year charge for unlimited internet access. all gone in one month! maybe now u wanna consider for data plan on your celcom subscription, hehehe...
