Err.. that phiten website just gives some unsubstantiated claims without telling us what it actually does.

And it's talking about "bioelectricity" as if our body is a circuit board with electrical current running through some channels or something.

Our body's electrical connections are mediated by neurotransmitters and ions, e.g. calcium and sodium ions. Of course there is a total jumble-up of bioelectric distribution throughout our bodies at all times! There is absolutely no use in 'stabilizing' the random mess of electrical charges because they're meant to be a mess.

This is my personal experience:
I've been using it for 2 weeks now. I find that it works for me. I don't feel so sluggish in the morning and not so tired after my badminton games.

you can ask how it works but the most important is does it work for you? i have a scientist friend who wears the fusion excel chain. Scientifically there is no basis to the claims by the manufacturer, but my friiend claims that he can feel "something". Bear in mind this friend of my has a masters in biology and is studying for his phd.....

Hmm...

ONE scientist + one "masters in biology" who believe it works > The rest of other scientists + "masters of biology" who doesn't want to have anything to do with it ?

I went to Phiton shop for a full demo just for fun while waiting for a bowling event to start.

I'm really surprised! I can feel the difference, experience listed below

1) Lift the same load with 1 finger, but with less strain
2) Stretch further (Finger to toes)
3) Twist my torso facing backwards further

Each test I did 2 times with and without their stuff.

I keep thinking it's bullshit explanation. But the effect!!!

Anyways I bought a 50mm bandage strip for a shoulder blade ache I've been nursing for months. If it can bring me relief, I'm sold. Regardless how it works.

I bought and used some kind of pendant years ago...it cost about RM500+.

It is not related to this titanium thing, but makes similar health claims....like balancing the body energy...ward off radiation...etc

After wearing it for a few weeks, I actually felt slightly worse. Luckily the shop offered money back, so I returned it...

That was about 7 years ago. wink.gif

I would like to bring forth some qoute related to these pendants with healing properties.

QUOTE
When suffering pain there are three things that can happen over time. The pain gets better, stays the same or get worse. That is with or without the presence of magnets. Someone who is gullible will apply a magnet to a painful area. The next day the area will feel better and they will credit the magnet for this magical improvement while chances are it would have improved without the magnet getting involved.

source: http://www.magnetnerd.com/Neodymium%20Magn...agnet_scams.htm

now, please replace the word "magnet" with other material (lava rocks/phiten) that claimed to be worn on body/carried around, that induce magical healing properties and improve health.

health and power is not about ability to use one finger and hold a heavy object. These are more like roadside freak show. Why its always the one finger do great stuff, or bending over painlessly? if the product claimed to be so powerful, why don't they demonstrate EVEN more variety of "power show" (like using toe instead to balance a 1 kg box, or perhap squeeze into a tight box, or maybe climb a ladder with great speed and dexterity?) ?

I'm using one of those Phiten necklaces. Before I decided to get it, I'm already thinking, this is probably some scam, and if it works, it's all in your mind. I had shoulder and neck aches, probably from sitting in front of the PC too long every day. So plunked a hundred bucks on a Phiten, wore it, and I do feel the difference. So maybe I've been conned, but if a hundred bucks can make me feel less fatigue or pain, why not? If placebos work, they're still effective, right?

Yeah go ahead and roll your eyes, but it's working for me, and I'm glad, even IF it's just psychological.

Good for you as long as you realize that it may only be placebo effect!

Hope everybody could think like that!

Im glad my remedy for these aches are good rest, plain old exercises and taking a nice deep breath of air every morning. I spend 5 days a week sitting in front of computer, sometimes got stiff and aching shoulder too. But it all subside after I went home and relax myself. (and watching an episode of Simpsons to "induce" laughter , thus enhancing my mood and reducing my ache)

Few months ago, I must've over-stress my thumb (using keyboard, AND playing lego =) and it aches, and tingles. A month back the ache is gone, with slight tingles. last week my thumb dunt feel pain/tingle anymore. I never did a thing about it, nor even spending $$$ to buy stuff to placebo-ized my brain into healing.

I shall keep thinking this way , coz it works for me, and it doesn't cost me a cent (except Simpsons DVD ).

Simpsons IS MY "phiten". and its much cheaper (mind you its ori DVD boxsets).

to each his own. Unlike phiten, I shall not* recommend simpsons to others coz nobody appreciates the power of humor, they only believe as long as that product is EXPENSIVE and require minimal effort to use (simply 'wear' em, no need instruction booklet) , they're brainwashed to beleive IT MUST BE EFFECTIVE .

*and their episode quality is not as good as previous seasons.

been there today, they ask me to do the same test also.. lift with 1 finger. First with my right hand but no feeling, then my left hand do it for 3 times. But there's one time i found it a bit easier to lift. Didn't buy from them yet, i'm waiting for x50 to come.

Why its always the same test. Easier to be set up and conducted? Or its the only test they can manage to convince potential buyers?

since someone dug up this topic again, the link below is a nice read =)
