- Quality (knocked off version of branded stuffs, are meh)

- Often ahead in style

- Novelty

Guys have their own branded stuffs too. Girls have their own too.

Only the kind of toys or products are different.

Example

Girls like Tiffany, Gucci, LV etc.

Boys like Lexus, Mercedes, BMW, Blackberry, Samsung

well yes, i do agree in that because 90% of my friends (be it girls or guys) from PJ area are english ed...but they are really friendly and not so stuck up as mentioned earlier by some members here.

not only girls indulge themselves in branded stuffs..guys do too...often it's gadgets/cars which are seen as hobby/necessity but to girls it might not be. im good with a normal phone with 2mp cam(which is below par nowadays) but a guy might not be contented with that. whereas guys dont understand why girls need so many handbags and shoes....and often branded ones.

Attitude as in politeness is not unique to which education system...

Rather, it is more like upbringing and peer experience.

Things that are variable (CE =/= EE)

- Clothing (in some way, yes....go to Sg Wang, however sometimes both CE and EE can dress the same, in that sense, look further then)

- Books/magazine (CE reads more chinese based reading materials (Taiwanese or HK novels, then mobile phone magazine, it is E-ring chinese version) while EE reads more English language novels, girls may read Seventeen (i am giving just one example)

Can be more things, unfortunately, those are so discrete.

quality and branded are two different things don't get mixed up lolz

as not all product that is not branded is not good quality, so does all branded stuff doesn't bring absolute quality either

branded stuff is a symbol of wealth not quality

i understand that manners are not unique to which education system. i think i have mentioned that in my earlier post as well, a page or two back..but just that i find some members here do like to stereotyped blindly..thats why i mentioned it again that english ed people are not as how they think of.

then im abit dilluted EE coz i read both taiwanese/japanese mags and all the english chick lit with all other well known english mags

Added on December 31, 2009, 2:52 amok..sorry ya boss. but i personally believe that most branded stuffs(or at least those that i buy)have their integrity and status to uphold and thus the QC is tighter and better than others.

of course, i do not think that unknown brands stuffs are of bad quality. i do buy those as well..but most of the time due to my rough handling and abuse those things tend to not last long..thus i tend to buy things that are abit more exp than pasar mlm/sg wang/independent boutiques because those things could handle my abuse well

I find this somehow true. F21, topshop etc do have items that are not worth the price. It would be smart if you buy only those that's worth the material e.g. silk (there's a very big difference between silk and satin) with a very good pricing.
